Student answer (Band 5.5)
In modern world, several individuals believe that their work play a vital role in their daily life and do not have any interest in anything, whereas other people have keen interests in their hobbies and leisure than of their occupation. athough from my perspective, it will be more beneficial people should do their own work and do not interfare in other stuffs. In this essay, i will discuss both views with elaboratinf my opinion by giving some examples and experiences.
To commence with, giving the importance to their work and jobs may create numerious opportunity for people. This is due to the fact that people with loving their work can easily learn some skills compared to other, and that people are highly demand in industrial comapnies or in technological companies. And by giving more time to their work compared to other things can enhance their knowledge in short time andm then he can apply anywhere in the world. For instance, during our research in the final semester of our bachelors, one of my friends was always busy in laboratory and he ignored other things playing cricket with us and enjoying with us. at that time he learned plenty of skills in lab and at presents he become as supervisior of quality control and we are jobless. Consequently, focusinf on your work instead of minuscule interest in other things will lead you become more successful in your life.
On the other hand, people that are enthusiastic for their hobbies like playing cricket, capturing the nature and leisure interest than their jobs may also create some rare opportunity. However it quites very in a small amount. This is because of, you have to work very hard for them, thereafter you wil get some opportunity. For illustration, in my country or in my region similarly playing cricket is one the apex hobbies in everyone life, from adoloscents to elderly residents everyone play cricket in daily life and they do not like their work like cricket. In addition cricket also provides opportunity to play cricket for your country and earn alot of money. Nevertheless everyone cannot join their country and end they leave to play cricket. Therefore people should take less interest in cricket than of their jobs.
In conclusion, many people think that their work is more important than all the things, while some people are intensivel interested in hobbies. To my knowledge people should always gives importance to their jobs and work for better future, additionally for getting opportunity.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You discuss both attitudes: the first body paragraph links commitment to work with skill development and career success, while the second considers hobbies, using cricket as an example. Your own view is also present, particularly in the introduction and conclusion, where you favour prioritising work. However, the position is not consistently clear: the introduction’s claim that people should “do their own work and do not interfere in other stuffs” does not directly express a view about balancing work and leisure. Several claims are asserted rather than explained, and the hobby argument is narrowed mainly to cricket and the chance of becoming a professional player. State your position clearly and develop both sides with more balanced reasoning and specific support.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two attitudes, and a conclusion. Connectors such as “To commence with,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help signal these stages. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow: the first body paragraph moves from skills to demand from companies, then to a personal anecdote without clearly linking each point. Some transitions are mechanical or do not express the intended relationship, as in “However it quites very in a small amount.” References such as “they” and “them” can also be unclear. Organise each paragraph around one main claim, then explain and illustrate it in a clear sequence, using linking phrases only where they clarify the logic.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “vital role,” “opportunity,” “skills,” “laboratory,” and “quality control,” and you use some less common expressions such as “enthusiastic” and “minuscule.” However, the range is limited by repeated use of “work,” “people,” “interest,” and “opportunity,” while several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or obscure meaning. Examples include “giving the importance to their work,” “highly demand in industrial companies,” and “rare opportunity.” Spelling errors such as “numerious,” “comapnies,” and “supervisior” are also noticeable. Build a more precise range for discussing career commitment and leisure, and check spelling and natural word combinations so your ideas are easier to understand.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including clauses introduced by “whereas,” “because,” and “although.” However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to follow. For example, “people with loving their work can easily learn” has an incorrect verb pattern, while “people should always gives importance” has subject–verb agreement trouble. Tense and sentence construction are also inconsistent in the anecdote: “at presents he become” does not clearly express the intended time. Capitalisation and punctuation are unreliable, including lowercase sentence openings and “i.” Practise accurate basic sentence patterns first, then build longer sentences with controlled clauses and consistent verb forms.
