Student answer (Band 5.5)
Most of individuals believe that the most crucial thing in their life is work and any other interesting things are time wasting. However, other people are more insterested to their hobbies and leisure time interest than their jobs. In my opinion, focussing on just one of them is a mistake, people ought to work as well as take care of their hobbies.
On the one hand, Majority of individuals are focussing on their jobs rather than hobbies. They work hard and forget all their hobbies and don't spend their leisure time with the family and children. And make their main focus on job for several purposes. For example, they work hard for getting more reputation and improve their finacials income. Furthermore, these kind of people are always choose work rather than themselves and familly. For instance, they spend major of time outside of house. At the office and work more additional hours for earn big facilities on the workplace and improve their influence.
On the other hand, Other individuals are very excited about their hobbies more than job. They spend all the day practice hobbies and entertainment and forgot their job. Neither job nor income, they spend the time on hobbies and there is nothing to do on their life as well as not having money. For example, they can't meet necessiries of their familly especially if they have children, no income means no perfect life. Moreover, these majority of people may find them too lazy for work and have daily problems with all people.
In conclusion, people who regard work as the most crucial thing on the life are mistaken even who are enthusiastic about their hobbies and entertainment time. Individuals need to meet all their needs by reconciling between work time and leisure time.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both attitudes and state a relevant opinion: “focussing on just one of them is a mistake” and people should balance work with hobbies. The two body paragraphs also give reasons, such as earning income and meeting family needs. However, the discussion remains general and some claims are unclear or insufficiently explained—for example, the idea that people who prioritise hobbies have “nothing to do on their life” does not clearly show why this attitude is problematic. The work-focused view is also described more than examined, with little consideration of why someone might reasonably make work central. Develop each side with a clearer explanation and a specific, relevant example, then connect these points more directly to your balanced opinion.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two attitudes, and a conclusion. “On the one hand” and “On the other hand” help signal the contrast, while examples generally follow the claims they support. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow. In the first body paragraph, the ideas about reputation, income, family, and extra hours are repeated or loosely connected; the fragment “And make their main focus on job” interrupts the flow. The second paragraph also moves abruptly from hobbies to income and then to laziness. Group related points, use complete sentences, and make links between each claim and its explanation more explicit. This would make the overall organisation clearer and reduce repetitive transitions.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “reputation,” “leisure time,” “income,” and “reconciling,” so the main ideas are usually understandable. However, the range is limited and several noticeable word-choice, collocation, and spelling errors make parts awkward or unclear. Examples include “more insterested to their hobbies,” “improve their finacials income,” and “earn big facilities.” Some expressions, such as “perfect life” and “daily problems with all people,” are too vague to communicate the intended point precisely. Aim to learn common word partnerships and check spelling carefully. More precise terms for financial security, family responsibilities, and work-life balance would help you express the argument naturally and avoid relying on repeated general words such as “people” and “work.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including a contrast in the opening and a conditional example beginning “if they have children.” However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to follow. For example, “Majority of individuals are focussing” lacks an article, while “these kind of people are always choose” combines incompatible verb forms and has a number-agreement problem. “They spend all the day practice hobbies” also has an incorrect verb pattern, and “And make their main focus on job” is a sentence fragment. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, articles, verb patterns, and complete sentence construction. Once these are more secure, use a wider variety of complex structures without sacrificing clarity.
