Some people regard work as the most important thing in life and have little interest in anything else. Other people are more enthusiastic about their hobbies and leisure interests than their jobs.

Discuss both these attitudes and give your own opinion.

You should use your own ideas, knowledge and experience and support your arguments with examples and relevant evidence.

Some linking phrases, including “although” and “so,” do not clearly show the relationship between the ideas. Give each paragraph one main purpose, order its supporting points logically, and use clear references and transitions between sentences.

The response attempts vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “experience,” “knowledge,” “responsibility,” “priority,” “financially strong” and “survival.” These choices show an effort to discuss work and its benefits rather than relying only on very basic terms. However, spelling errors and inaccurate or unnatural word combinations often make the intended meaning hard to understand, as in “economice level is up,” “control the financialy strong” and “the main important thing.” Some key words, particularly “work,” “important” and “thing,” are repeated frequently. Build a reliable set of topic phrases and check spelling and collocation; for example, use “financial security” and “gain valuable experience” in appropriate sentences.

There are attempts to form longer sentences and express reasons, using structures such as “because” and “although,” as well as some simple statements like “Work is my favorite activity.” However, sentence structure and verb forms are often inaccurate, and many clauses lack the grammatical elements needed to make their meaning clear. Examples include “some people are very healthy because are worked” and “the main reason for I like it.” Agreement and articles are also problematic, as in “work give you” and “the work the time for me.” Punctuation does not consistently separate complete ideas. Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then join them with one clear conjunction and check verb forms, articles and sentence boundaries.
