Student answer (Band 5.5)
Many people think that in life work in the more important thing and they don't have much interest in anything else. while other people into their hobbies and leisure and have less interest in their work. In my opinion people should be more interested in their hobbies and leisure this is because they will have less stress about work and can live a happer life.
If peopel think that work is the most important thing in life, than that means that they focies a lot on work. As a result, there is a higher changs of self growth and improvent at their work. However, it will lead to them spending very little time with themself and their family members. For example, if someone spends very little time with themself and their family members it can lead to hight lever of stress and they may find it difficlt to understant what their family wants so the person mind will be stuck at work.
If the person is more interested in other hobbies and leisure then they will be able to spend more time on themself. As a result, they will be able to know what they are into and what they enjoy doing. Moreover, it may lead to they finding it difficlt to focies at work.
In my opinion people should be more interested in their hobbies and leisure this is because they will have less stress about work and can live a happer life and they can spend more time with their friends and family.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both attitudes by describing the work-focused person’s potential for career growth and the leisure-focused person’s opportunity to enjoy personal interests, and you state a clear preference for hobbies and leisure. However, the discussion is only partly developed: the work-focused view receives a consequence and an example, while the leisure-focused view is explained briefly and its possible effect on work is not explored. Your opinion is repeated in the introduction and conclusion, but the reasons—less stress and more time with family and friends—need fuller explanation or a specific example. Develop each side more evenly and make the reasoning behind your position more convincing.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall arrangement: an introduction, a paragraph for each attitude, and a concluding opinion. This helps the reader follow the main direction. You also use basic links such as “As a result,” “However,” and “Moreover” to show relationships between ideas. At times, though, the progression is repetitive: the conclusion largely repeats the introduction, and the leisure paragraph moves quickly from personal enjoyment to difficulty focusing at work without explaining the connection. Some references, such as “they” and “the person,” could be clearer. Build a more developed sequence within each paragraph and use linking expressions to show precise relationships rather than simply adding points.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “work,” “hobbies,” “leisure,” “stress,” and “self growth.” However, the range is limited and several phrases are repeated, particularly “more interested in their hobbies and leisure.” There are also noticeable spelling errors, including “peopel,” “focies,” “changs,” “improvent,” and “happer,” which can distract the reader. Some word combinations are unnatural, such as “higher chances of self growth” and “spending very little time with themself.” Aim for more precise, natural expressions and check spelling carefully; this will make your ideas easier to understand and less repetitive.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including a conditional structure in “If people think that work is the most important thing in life…” and a result clause beginning “As a result.” However, the range is limited, and attempts at longer sentences are often faulty. For example, “In my opinion people should be more interested in their hobbies and leisure this is because…” joins complete ideas without suitable punctuation or a conjunction. Other issues include “than that means” and “it may lead to they finding,” where the grammatical patterns are not controlled. Use full stops or conjunctions to separate ideas, and practise accurate conditional and “lead to” structures. More reliable sentence construction will improve clarity.
