Student answer (Band 5.5)

It is often argue that professionals must work in a country where they did training while some say that they are free to work in which ever country they want. This essay will discuus both views.

Proponents believe that it is the right of the particular country from where individuals did training , to be served by them. They are deligent people and their country need them the most. They should work hard for the betterment of their homeland. Moreover, they are the valuable asset of the country and should contribute to the economy. For instance, Pakistan is an under developed country with more intelligent and deligent inhabitants. It needs these professionals to support its economy and stock market.

On the paradoxical side, opponents argue that everyone is free to work where they want. People usually prefer those countries which offer them better job opportunities and incentives. In my country, there are numerous educated peple with unemployment. There are no jobs for them because of saturation in market and low economical condition of the country. Individuals who are financially stable go abroad to pursue their career. Those who have no income or money are left behind in the race.

From my point of view, I would like to say that should be the personal choice of an individual that where he wants to work. I believe that everyone has right to think about himself. If I get any chance to go abroad, I will definetly take advantage of this. This conclude the whole essay that it depends on a person wether he wants to live in his own country or go to another country for better life style.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You discuss both views and state a clear preference for allowing professionals to choose where they work. The points about a country needing trained workers and individuals seeking better opportunities are relevant, and the example of unemployment in your country supports the second view. However, the first side is developed mainly through broad claims about serving the homeland and contributing to the economy; the reference to supporting the stock market is not clearly connected to doctors and engineers. Your own position is clear, but it is mostly asserted rather than explained. Develop the reasons behind your view and use a more specific example to show the effects of either requiring professionals to stay or allowing them to leave.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The essay has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction, a paragraph for each view, and a concluding opinion. Transitions such as “Moreover,” “On the paradoxical side,” and “From my point of view” help signal the stages of the discussion. However, some connections are mechanical or imprecise, and the ideas within paragraphs do not always build on one another. For example, the move from professionals’ contribution to the economy to the “stock market” is abrupt, while the final paragraph repeats the personal-choice position without adding much explanation. Use clearer links between claims and examples, and make each paragraph develop one central point in a more deliberate sequence.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use some topic-relevant vocabulary, including “job opportunities,” “incentives,” “unemployment,” and “pursue their career,” which helps communicate the main ideas. There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, such as “betterment of their homeland.” However, spelling errors and inaccurate or unnatural word choices are noticeable, including “deligent,” “peple,” “economical condition,” and “paradoxical side.” Some expressions are vague or unsuitable for the point being made, such as “more intelligent inhabitants” and “support its economy and stock market.” Aim for accurate collocations and more precise terms for professional migration, such as “retain skilled workers” or “seek better career prospects.” Proofreading would also improve clarity.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt a mixture of simple and longer sentences, and the main message is generally understandable. However, errors occur frequently in basic sentence patterns and in attempts to form more complex ideas. For example, “It is often argue” needs a passive verb form, and “I would like to say that should be the personal choice” is missing a subject and a clear clause structure. There are also problems with articles, agreement, and punctuation, as in “their country need them” and the spacing before commas. The conclusion’s “This conclude the whole essay” also has an incorrect verb form. Practise checking each sentence for a subject and finite verb, then review agreement and article use.
