Student answer (Band 5.5)

Lately, it is the topic of the debate that wether professionals like doctors and engineers, must work in country where they complete their early training or they should be given free hand where they can work anywhere around the globe.

First of all, every country has diffenrent safety and working procedures when it come to professional fields like doctors and engineers. Keeping these factors in mind, it is not suitable to allow a professional to work in a different environmet after graduation. For early years of job experience, it is often suggested to work in an environment where you have completed your training. A professional working in his native or an area where he has completed his early education and training, is more aware of the cultural and social aspects of that region. It makes the work easy as compared to a foreign environment. Additionally, It overcomes barrier of communication for locals, specially uneducated people.

Moreover, especially in third world coutries, where the purchasing power of money is barely enough for survival, professionals like doctors and engineers has to face struggles in finding a job, and even if they are successful in securing one, it does not pay them enough to run their kitchen. After facing such circumstances, it forces them to apply for foreign jobs in order to secure their future.

To colclude, I'm of the opinion, that professionals of fields like doctors and engineers, must be given free hand after completion of their training to work anywhere around the world without any doubt.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You present a clear final opinion: professionals should be free to work anywhere, and you give relevant reasons for this view, including low pay and limited job prospects in some countries. You also explain why some people favour working where training took place, referring to local procedures, cultural familiarity and communication with residents. However, the discussion is uneven: the first view receives several supporting points, while the case for international mobility is mainly reduced to financial hardship. The opening also frames the issue but does not establish your position until the conclusion. Develop both sides more fully—for example, explain how overseas work can benefit professionals and host countries, and consider whether training countries should receive any return on their investment.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and the ideas within each paragraph are generally related. Sequencing phrases such as “First of all” and “Moreover” help signal movement between points. However, the overall progression is not fully clear: the second body paragraph introduces the argument for working abroad, but the conclusion gives a firm opinion without weighing the two positions or linking back to the earlier discussion. Some connections are also awkward or repetitive, such as “For early years of job experience” followed by “A professional working in his native or an area…”. Use clearer topic sentences and transitions that show how each reason supports a particular view, and make references between sentences more precise.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “safety and working procedures,” “cultural and social aspects,” “purchasing power” and “securing their future.” These choices help communicate the main ideas. However, the range is limited in places, and several spelling and word-choice errors reduce precision: “wether,” “diffenrent,” “environmet” and “coutries” are noticeable, while “run their kitchen” is not a natural way to describe meeting living costs. Phrases such as “given free hand” and “work anywhere around the globe” are understandable but could be expressed more precisely and formally. Build a wider set of accurate collocations for migration, employment and professional training, and proofread spelling carefully.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt a mixture of simple and more complex sentences, including a conditional structure in “even if they are successful in securing one” and a relative clause in “where you have completed your training.” Meaning is generally recoverable, but errors occur across sentence patterns and sometimes make the reader pause. For example, “when it come” needs subject–verb agreement, and “professionals like doctors and engineers, must work in country” has problems with articles and punctuation. The sentence beginning “After facing such circumstances, it forces them…” also has an unclear subject, while “professionals … has to face” has incorrect agreement. Practise accurate agreement, articles and sentence boundaries, then check that each pronoun clearly refers to its intended subject.
