Student answer (Band 5.5)

Doctors and engineers are such professionals who plays the significant role in any countries development and growth. Whether they should work, where they have been trained or any other country as per their will is always debatable in people mind.I will elaborate my opinion in this essay, presenting both positive as well as negative side.

To become such professionals is very tedious and lengthy procedure. If they decide to work in the country where they studied and trained for such difficult carriers then they will help to build economy, healthcare system, and urbanization. It can be easily illustrates by India's healthcare system needs significant amount of doctors as there a 1:30 ratio of doctor and patient.Economy of india is dramatically rose in the past decades as number of doctors and engineers are also significantally increased.

If they decide to travel for work to other country, it will be beneficial for them in regard of their income and skills. This kind of brillant minds always choose developed countries as a place of work which help them to develop their basic skills, to gain experience, and to make more money as they spend large sum of money on their studies.Even when they work at a place which they have decided job will be done in a efficient manner. To explain this ,student often complete their undergraduate course in their home country and shift to their desired country for work where he is living luxurious life.

To pen down my final thoughts, if such carrier oriented person build their life in the country where they have been trained then it is beneficial for that countries economy and development whereas if option is given to them to work elsewhere of their choice then they can do their job more joyfully with focused mind with good earings.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You discuss both views and give a concluding preference for allowing professionals to choose where they work. The paragraph on staying in the training country links doctors and engineers to economic and public-service benefits, while the paragraph on working abroad mentions income, skills, and experience. However, the position is not fully clear: the conclusion presents both options as beneficial rather than stating which view you support overall. Several points also need fuller explanation. For example, the India doctor-to-patient ratio is introduced but not clearly connected to how requiring graduates to stay would address the shortage, and the example of a student living luxuriously does not strongly support the wider argument. State your view directly and develop each example with a clear explanation of its relevance.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, one paragraph for each view, and a conclusion. This gives the reader a coherent overall arrangement, and phrases such as “If they decide” help signal the contrast between the two positions. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear because examples and claims are placed together without explaining their connection. The India statistics and economic growth, for instance, are presented as separate facts rather than a developed chain of reasoning. Some linking is also mechanical, particularly the repeated conditional openings. Improve cohesion by using clearer topic sentences, linking each example explicitly to the point it supports, and making the conclusion follow from the arguments rather than simply restating both possibilities.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “healthcare system,” “urbanization,” “developed countries,” “experience,” and “economy.” These choices make the subject clear, and you attempt more formal expressions such as “To pen down my final thoughts.” However, noticeable spelling, word-form, and collocation errors reduce precision: “carriers” for careers, “brillant,” “significantally,” and “good earings” are examples. Some phrases are also unnatural or vague, such as “build their life” and “job will be done in a efficient manner.” Aim for accurate, natural combinations rather than ornate phrasing. Proofread spelling and choose precise terms—for example, distinguish professional careers from “carriers,” and describe how working abroad may improve expertise or earnings.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including conditional clauses such as “If they decide to work in the country where they studied…” and a contrast introduced by “whereas.” These attempts show some range, but control is inconsistent, and errors sometimes make sentences difficult to follow. For example, “professionals who plays” has subject–verb disagreement, while “Economy of india is dramatically rose” combines an incorrect article pattern with an incorrect verb form. There are also missing or misplaced sentence boundaries, as in “urbanization. It can be easily illustrates.” Work on agreement, articles, verb forms, and punctuation, and check that each sentence has a clear grammatical structure. More accurate complex sentences would strengthen the argument.
