Student answer (Band 5.0)

Professionals like engineers and doctors are great skilled it will be achieved with great effort. Many people believe its their wish to work anywhere in any country as they wish. And a few believe they should work in the country they trained in. I agree with both the options.

Lot of people think its individual choice to choose workplace wherever the professionals wish. Everyone wont be comfortable with weather conditions, work culture, language barriers, salary , rules and regulations of different countries. Personally in have seen many people going overseas for professional degree finishing training and based on their requirements choosing country to work. Especially gen z people. If their is a rule like they should work in same country they trained in they wont prefer that country to study in.

However, some people think its necessary to work in the country they trained in. Because every country has various training methods . example: If i trained in india and go to america to work it doesnt be easy to mingle with the team based on their methods. Everything should be learned from base to copeup with that environment.

In conclusion, i prefer more to work wherever the professionals wish. but incontrast i can support a little to work in trained country.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address both views and state a preference for professionals to choose where they work, so the response is relevant to the question. You also give reasons, including differences in weather, work culture and salary, and the example of training in India before working in America. However, the discussion is only partial: the argument for requiring professionals to work where they trained is brief, and the example is not fully explained. Your position is also somewhat unclear when you say, “I agree with both the options,” then later say you prefer freedom to choose. The response is 38 words below the required minimum, which limits the space available to develop and support your ideas. Explain each view more fully and state your position consistently.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a basic, relevant structure: an introduction, one paragraph for each view, and a conclusion. This helps the reader identify the main stages of your discussion. You use signposts such as “However” and “In conclusion,” but connections between ideas are sometimes abrupt or unclear. For example, “Especially gen z people” is an isolated fragment, and the shift from overseas study to whether students would choose a country needs a clearer explanation. The conclusion also introduces a contrast without resolving the earlier claim that you agree with both options. Develop a clearer progression within each paragraph, link examples directly to the point they support, and use referencing and transitions more precisely.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “work culture,” “language barriers,” “training methods,” and “salary,” and the reader can generally understand your main ideas. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are noticeably inaccurate, such as “great skilled,” “choose workplace,” and “copeup with that environment.” These expressions sometimes make the meaning less natural or require the reader to interpret your intended meaning. Spelling and form issues, including “wont” and “their” where “there” is intended, also affect accuracy. Build a wider set of precise phrases for discussing professional mobility and training, and check collocations and spelling when editing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a conditional structure in “If there is a rule … they won’t prefer that country to study in.” However, control is inconsistent, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to follow. Examples include “Many people believe its their wish,” “Everyone wont be comfortable,” and “If i trained in india and go to america to work it doesnt be easy,” where verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction need attention. Capitalisation and punctuation are also inconsistent, particularly at sentence beginnings and around examples. Practise forming accurate conditional sentences and check each sentence for a clear subject, correctly formed verb, and appropriate punctuation.
