Student answer (Band 5.0)
A large proportion of individuals believe that professionals, such as doctors and engineers, should be required to work in the same country where they completed their training. Whereas, other think that they should be allowed to work any of their desired country. I strongly agree with the point of view that every professional should have autonomy to choose workplace country for career growth and financial stability.
First of all, people who believe that experts should work in their country of education is because they want them to serve their local community and contribution to development of own country. For example, If a physiotherapist completed academics and supervise clinical practice in pakistan, he should be work in pakistan due to the face that in underdevelop countries like pakistan, due to unawareness local population remained unserved. So physical therapist can work with some organisations who organize free medical awareness camps and serve deserving community. In this way, they can contribute for the betterment of society.
On the hand, others believe that everyone should have a free will to choose work country of interest for better income and professional advancement. I support this opinion because moving to developed country provides better work opportunities as well as enhance practical experience. For instance, a physical therapist wants to work in UK, but he completed his training from pakistan there he will be able to practice more advance skills and

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You present a clear opinion in the introduction, supporting professionals’ freedom to choose where they work, and you discuss both views. The first body paragraph gives a relevant reason for requiring local service—contributing to the community—and an example involving a physiotherapist in Pakistan. However, the opposing view is developed more fully than the case for requiring graduates to stay, and the second example is cut off at “practice more advance skills and,” leaving your support incomplete. The response also contains 219 words, below the required 250; this limits the space available to explain and support your ideas. Develop both sides with complete examples and add a conclusion that restates your position.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, one paragraph for each view, and a clear shift between them using “First of all” and “On the hand.” This helps the reader follow the main direction of your argument. However, the progression is incomplete because the final paragraph ends mid-sentence, and there is no concluding paragraph to bring the discussion together. Some linking is also mechanical, particularly the repeated use of “For example” and “In this way.” Use a wider range of transitions and make the relationship between each reason and its example explicit. Completing the final paragraph and adding a concise conclusion would give the essay a more finished overall progression.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “professionals,” “local community,” “financial stability,” and “professional advancement,” which helps communicate the central ideas. There are also attempts at more formal expressions such as “autonomy” and “contribute for the betterment of society.” However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or awkward, including “any of their desired country,” “free will to choose work country,” and “unawareness local population.” Spelling and word-form errors such as “underdevelop countries” and “advance skills” also reduce precision. Aim for natural combinations and check word forms; for example, use “the country of their choice,” “freedom to choose where to work,” and “developing countries.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a conditional example beginning “If a physiotherapist completed…” and a reason clause introduced by “because.” However, complex structures are often inaccurate, and errors sometimes make the intended meaning harder to follow. Examples include “other think,” “he should be work,” and “moving to developed country provides… as well as enhance,” where agreement, verb forms, and sentence construction need correction. The final sentence is incomplete, so it does not demonstrate control of the structure you began. Practise building complete sentences with accurate subject–verb agreement and parallel forms, such as “moving abroad provides better opportunities and enhances practical experience.”
