Student answer (Band 4.5)

Several individuals thinks that professional, such as doctors and engineers, should be spend their time and their all life in their own country while they are in training. Other thinks that they should be free in their own prespectives if they wish for some other country, they should go. From my prespective i think doctors and engineers should be free to work in another country which is very necessary for us.

First of all, when doctors and engineers should be free to work in another country that is very helpful for us because our economy should be grow rapidly; for instance they work hard and achieve their goals in another country they will send their earning back to their own country. Because of their earning our economy will be increase that is very necessary for us.

Secondly, our economy will be grow when doctors and engineers should be free to work another country however our healthcare and engineers field should be fall that is very awful for us. for instance when they give all their work and time in another country so our country patients and constution side should be fall. But their birth is very

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

You state a clear preference for allowing professionals to work abroad, and you offer a relevant possible benefit: they may send earnings home and support the economy. However, the response addresses the two views only minimally. The argument for requiring professionals to remain in their training country is not explained, and the second paragraph mainly repeats the economic point before briefly mentioning weaker healthcare and engineering services. The final sentence is unfinished, so your opinion and supporting ideas are not fully developed. The response contains 180 words, below the required 250; this limits the space available to discuss both sides and provide relevant examples. Develop each view with a distinct reason and a complete example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

There is a basic paragraph structure: an introduction gives your position, followed by two body paragraphs, and phrases such as “First of all” and “Secondly” signal sequence. However, the ideas do not progress clearly. The second paragraph repeats that the economy will grow, then shifts to possible harm to healthcare and engineering without clearly explaining how this qualifies your position. “However” does not establish a clear contrast, and the final thought, “But their birth is very,” is incomplete and leaves the discussion unresolved. To improve, give each paragraph one main purpose, connect reasons to their consequences, and use clear references so readers can follow who benefits or is affected.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

Your vocabulary is basic but includes some relevant topic words, such as “economy,” “healthcare,” “engineers,” and “earning.” These allow the reader to identify the general subject of your argument. However, the range is narrow and several word choices or forms make meaning unclear, including “own prespectives,” “constution side,” and “their birth is very.” Some phrases are also repetitive, particularly “very necessary for us” and repeated references to the economy growing. Aim for accurate, natural collocations and more precise terms for the effects of migration, such as remittances, staffing shortages, or public services. Check spelling and word forms carefully, and avoid using a phrase when its meaning is uncertain.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including a reason-and-example structure beginning “because” and a contrast introduced by “however.” Nevertheless, errors are frequent and sometimes make relationships between ideas difficult to understand. Examples include “Several individuals thinks,” “should be spend,” “our economy should be grow,” and “our healthcare … should be fall.” These show problems with subject–verb agreement, verb forms, and sentence construction. Capitalisation and punctuation are also inconsistent, as in “i” and the run-on sentence beginning “First of all.” Practise forming accurate subject–verb patterns and using modal verbs with the base form, then check each sentence for a complete main clause and clear punctuation.
