Student answer (Band 6.5)
Globalization has played an immense role in the exchange of ideas, technology and trained professionals, between different nations. But the population is divided into two groups, one who are against the migration of foreign experts, and the other who supports it. I am in the support of the free migration philosophy.
Many foreign countries like America, United Kingdom are a home to renowned educational schools like Harvard, Cambridge, Oxford and many others, offering subjects like Medicine, Engineering, and Social Sciences; many international students take admission in this institutions for obtaining high-quality educational exposure. After obtaining degrees, students who want to do jobs and businesses stay there and starts working. Moreover, this is major advantage for that country, as this professionals become a part of skilled work force, which significantly contribute for a better economy. Also, the collaboration of such skilled persons and natives, can bring better research and development opportunities, because the immigrants (now a workforce) have experience of 2 cultures, that is their own country and the country they trained in.
There are various downsides if the professional are forced to work in their native training center. The world would be saturated in terms of developing new ideas and technology . For example, in 1500 B.C an Indian monk named Boddhidharma, who had an immense knowledge of ayurveda (herbal medicines), went to China, because at that time, significant proportion of Chinese were dyeing because of an unknown virus, Boddhidharma cured the disease in less than a week, by applying his knowledge on medicinal herbs, thus China was saved. So this story teaches us that every different community has different knowledge on varioustopics.
In conclusion, people should be free to work or practice in the country of their choice, to contribute their best for a sustainable development.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat uneven. The first body paragraph effectively discusses the benefits of international mobility for the host country. The second body paragraph, while attempting to support the opposing view, relies on a historical anecdote about Boddhidharma that is not entirely relevant to the modern context of professional training and migration. The argument would be stronger if it focused on the 'brain drain' phenomenon or the ethical obligation of professionals to serve their home countries. The conclusion is brief but summarizes the position well.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. Cohesive devices such as 'Moreover', 'Also', and 'For example' are used to link ideas, though some transitions feel slightly mechanical. The progression of ideas is generally clear, although the jump from the benefits of migration to the historical example in the second paragraph lacks a smooth transition. The use of referencing is generally accurate, but there are minor issues with sentence-level cohesion, such as the run-on structure in the opening paragraph.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.5
The vocabulary is adequate for the task, with some attempts at more sophisticated language like 'saturated', 'collaboration', and 'sustainable development'. However, there are several instances of awkward phrasing and word choice errors, such as 'take admission in this institutions' (should be 'enroll in these institutions') and 'dying' misspelled as 'dyeing'. While the meaning is always clear, the range of vocabulary is somewhat limited, and the errors in collocation prevent the response from reaching a higher band.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement ('this professionals become', 'starts working') and pluralization ('this institutions'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with unnecessary spaces before commas and some run-on sentences. While these errors do not impede communication, they are frequent enough to demonstrate a lack of full control over complex structures. To improve, focus on proofreading for basic agreement and ensuring consistent use of articles and plural forms.
