Student answer (Band 6.0)
The professions of doctor and engineering are very sensitive and well educated. In all over the word, this professions have a too much demand. Many people thinks that they should be required to work in the country where they did training. While the others believe they work in any place in the world where they want. I will discuss both views in the following paragraphs and also give my opinion.
On the first hand, I discuss those people who believe doctors and engineers should be work in same country where they did training because those people who become doctors and engineers they knows all the problems about this professions. Furthermore, doctors also know about the patients of their region where they live. So easily they will treatment of them very well. While the engineers also know about the problems in infrastructure where country they live and training. So they will solve the problems very easily and making a new bridges and buildings where required. For example, a member of my family became a doctor and his uncle has a cancer so he treated him very well and take care of him because he knew him very well.
On the other hand, the people who believe that they should be free to work in any place of world if they want that is because any country in the world demanding the doctors and engineers. Moreover, they pay a healthy amount of them. In my opinion, they should be required to work in the country where they did their training because it is best way to serve their country.
In conclusion, doctors and engineers should be work in the same country where they did training because they know all the problems in their fields and they easily solve them.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both views and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is limited. The arguments regarding why professionals should stay in their home country are somewhat repetitive and rely on personal anecdotes rather than broader societal or economic reasoning. The second viewpoint regarding the freedom to work abroad is mentioned but lacks depth, as it only briefly touches upon demand and salary. To improve, you should expand on the implications of these choices, such as the 'brain drain' phenomenon or the benefits of international knowledge exchange, rather than focusing solely on individual family experiences.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organised into clear paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. For example, 'On the first hand' is not a standard English phrase; 'Firstly' or 'On the one hand' would be more appropriate. Additionally, some transitions between sentences are abrupt, and the referencing (e.g., 'those people who become doctors') is occasionally repetitive. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring they are used naturally will help the flow of your arguments significantly.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and range required for higher bands. There are several instances of awkward phrasing, such as 'this professions have a too much demand' and 'they will treatment of them'. You rely on basic vocabulary and struggle with collocations related to professional fields. To reach a higher band, focus on using more sophisticated terminology related to the topic, such as 'specialised training', 'global mobility', 'economic incentives', or 'professional development', and ensure you use the correct word forms (e.g., 'treat' instead of 'treatment').
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('Many people thinks'), incorrect verb forms ('should be work', 'they will treatment'), and article usage. While there is an attempt to use complex sentences, these are often structurally flawed. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, specifically the use of modal verbs (e.g., 'should work' instead of 'should be work') and ensuring consistent tense usage. Reducing the frequency of these errors is essential for moving to a higher band.
