Student answer (Band 6.0)

Some people believe that professionals , such as doctors and engineers, should be required to work in own country where they got a training but other believes that they should be work anywhere where they want.

I thought work in own country is more easier as compare to other country because own country you have already know about rules and regulations in comparison to other country . there are many factors to discuss about doctors and engineers like doctors have follow number of rules, ethics of own country but if they want to do work another country they may have more information about the another country or they do some specific course before practicing in another country .

on the other hand some people believe they should be free to work any ware but according to my point of view there are number of chances of mistakes and so many things may get worse. I thought before doing anything in any country some course must have done of their country before starting the practice which may help to reduce the errors.

Conclusion- according to my point of view both ways are good because people have number of opportunities in different countries in relation to own country. They also gain numbers of skills like language, cultural, ethics, some laws. For example Indian doctors have more knowledge and experience as compare to other countries same like engineers. In USA most of IT department run by Indian which is good option to got income and knowledge.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a personal opinion, meeting the basic requirements of the task. However, the development of ideas is limited. The arguments regarding the necessity of local training are repetitive and lack depth, relying on general statements rather than well-supported points. The conclusion is somewhat contradictory, as it suggests both ways are good without clearly synthesising the previous arguments. To improve, you should aim to provide more specific, logical reasons for your views and ensure that your position is clearly maintained throughout the essay rather than shifting focus in the conclusion.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organised into paragraphs, but the logical flow is often disrupted by awkward phrasing and a lack of effective cohesive devices. While some linking words like 'on the other hand' are used, they are not always employed to create a smooth progression of ideas. The transition between sentences is often abrupt, making the argument feel disjointed. To improve, focus on using a wider variety of linking words and phrases to connect your ideas more naturally. Additionally, ensure that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence that guides the reader through your argument.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but remains quite basic and repetitive. There are several instances of imprecise word choice, such as 'got a training' instead of 'received training' and 'do work' instead of 'practice'. Some phrases are also unnatural, such as 'most of IT department run by Indian'. To reach a higher band, you should work on using more precise academic vocabulary and collocations. Expanding your range of synonyms and learning how to use them in the correct context will significantly improve your ability to express complex ideas clearly.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. There are consistent issues with article usage ('the another country'), subject-verb agreement ('other believes'), and sentence structure (e.g., 'some course must have done of their country'). The range of structures is limited, with a reliance on simple sentences. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, particularly the correct use of prepositions and articles. Practising complex sentence structures, such as using relative clauses or conditional sentences, will also help you demonstrate a wider grammatical range.
