Student answer (Band 7.0)
It is widely argued that medical professionals and engineers should continue to work in their countries of origin. While other demographic groups believe that they should not be bound to their own countries only. While I agree that trained professionals should serve the country they get training from, Neverthles, I am more inclined toward the immigration of these skilled workers according to their own needs.
On the one hand, migration of experts from medical and engineering fields is pressing concern in developing countries , as it put strain on the economy and hinder the progress of nations. For example, in the recent years, medical specialists ,(nurses, doctors) from Pakistan are moving abroad at high pace. Due to which healthcare sector is facing enormous issues from lack of staffing to poor management.
On the other hand, emigration to developed countries open gatesof opportunities for experts. Developed countries spend billions of dollars every year on research programs and these skilled workers mainly participate in research programs because such opportunities are very uncommon in their native countries. Moreover, Movement of doctors, nurses, engineers is not only beneficial for themselves , it is crucial for the economy of their country of origin , as they are going to fund their families back home and become maion source of foreign revenue. For example, phillipines nurses have helped their national economy to boost by migrating to developed countries, otherwise which would have been an impossible task.
In conclusion, I would say it is crucial to some extent that trained professionals remain in their country of origin to fill the gap of requirement in their fields . But migration offer more prospects of progress not just for individuals but for countries as it help countries to collect foreign revenue and on the other hands help individuals to flourish in their fields. So I agree with second ponit of view as advantages of moving abroad outweigh its disadvantages.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0
The response addresses all parts of the prompt, discussing both views and providing a clear personal opinion. The ideas are relevant, such as the economic strain on developing nations versus the benefits of remittances and professional growth. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat superficial. For instance, the mention of the Philippines is a good example, but the explanation of how it helps the economy could be more detailed. The position is consistent throughout, though the conclusion could be more effectively linked to the main body arguments to strengthen the overall argument.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0
The essay is logically organized into four paragraphs, with a clear introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'On the one hand', 'On the other hand', and 'Moreover', which help guide the reader. However, some transitions are slightly mechanical, and there are minor issues with punctuation and sentence structure that occasionally affect the flow. For example, the sentence 'Due to which healthcare sector is facing...' is a fragment that disrupts the cohesion between the cause and effect. Overall, the progression of ideas is clear.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing the writer to express their ideas clearly. There are some attempts at less common vocabulary, such as 'remittances' (implied by 'fund their families') or 'prospects of progress'. However, there are several word-choice errors and spelling mistakes, such as 'maion' instead of 'main', 'phillipines' (capitalization), and 'ponit' instead of 'point'. These errors do not impede communication, but they do limit the score. To reach a higher band, the student should focus on more precise collocations and accurate spelling.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with articles ('the healthcare sector'), sentence fragments ('Due to which...'), and subject-verb agreement. For instance, 'migration... are pressing concern' should be 'is a pressing concern'. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with unnecessary commas used in some places and missing ones in others. While the writer attempts complex sentences, the frequency of these errors prevents a higher score, as they occasionally require the reader to re-read to grasp the intended meaning.
