Student answer (Band 6.5)
People thinks that professional like doctors and engineers should be required to work only in their country while others believe that they should work in any country or place where they want and wish to work. I believe that if people of different fields have a good job in their country earn handsome salary and easily manage their monthly expense they should require to serve in their country.
Firstly, Requiring professional to remain in their country has several advantages for example government spend substantial money on higher education of different medical fields and other engineering degrees. Therefore it is better for graduates to contribute their services to local communities as they needed it most. In rural and undeveloped areas where people have no much facilities professionals are needed anytime or urgently. This policy have also overcome the problem of shortage of skilled workers.
Furthermore People have free will to work in any country or place in all over the world if they wish to. In many countries skilled workers are unemployed and do not have a suitable job they want to earn money and manage their own and family's expense should try to move to another country where professional workers needed. For example Country like Pakistan and India has to much competition for employment that is the main reason why young people want to work in another country.
To conclude that Professional workers like doctors, engineers try to work and serve in their own society but if they want to work in other place other country they have full right to do. Sometime it is also better for the country as well where skill workers are enough to work at.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention government funding for education as a reason for mandatory local service, the explanation remains brief. Similarly, the argument for freedom of movement is supported by the example of unemployment in countries like India and Pakistan, which is relevant but could be expanded to show a deeper understanding of the global economic implications. The conclusion is a bit repetitive and lacks a strong summary of the main points. To improve, ensure each paragraph provides a more detailed explanation of the 'why' behind your arguments.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. You use some cohesive devices such as 'Firstly', 'Furthermore', and 'To conclude', which help guide the reader. However, the transitions between sentences are sometimes mechanical, and the flow within paragraphs could be smoother. For instance, the jump from discussing government funding to rural needs in the second paragraph is a bit abrupt. Additionally, some referencing is slightly unclear, such as the use of 'it' in 'as they needed it most'. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring clear pronoun references will help improve the overall coherence.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to express your ideas clearly. You use some topic-specific terms like 'skilled workers', 'higher education', and 'unemployed'. However, there are instances of word-choice errors and awkward phrasing, such as 'people of different fields' instead of 'professionals in various sectors' and 'no much facilities' instead of 'few facilities'. The range of vocabulary is somewhat limited, relying on basic descriptors. To reach a higher band, try to incorporate more precise academic collocations and avoid repetitive phrasing, such as the frequent use of 'work' and 'country'.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally distract the reader. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('People thinks', 'This policy have'), missing articles ('Country like Pakistan'), and incorrect verb forms ('they should require to serve'). While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are persistent throughout the text. To improve, focus on mastering basic subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles. Additionally, try to vary your sentence structure by using more complex clauses to demonstrate better control over grammar.
