Student answer (Band 6.5)

In recent years, many people has a opinion for the professionals like doctors and engineers that they should work in the country where they have taken training while others believe that they are free to work at foreign country.

Admittedly, it is right to say that professionals who had taken training in their country, they should work in their home country as this help our country to boost their economy. This could also give more job opportunities to people because in our country factories are entirely empty ,they are looking for skilled workers and these skilled professionals are going abroad. Moreover, the government jobs are present , also they give enough salary to run your daily needs and better retirement plans.

In contrast, they are not willing to work here, there should be reasons and definately there is reasons for example- in here the employers and the owner, they don't respect the dignity of a worker, they don't see him as a human for them they are like working robots whose work is just doing the work. But in foreign countries, there are more opportunities and the workers has the respect. Furthermore, there is more salary and has better living standard than their home country, better air to breathe, better societies to live peacefully and better facilities.

In my opinion, it is not compulsory to go abroad for a better job or more salary, it is about your comfort zone it you are feeling happy by staying in with your family then foreign is not for you but if you believe that you are capable more than this or this is not a spot for you, then you should go to a foreign country for proving yourself.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a personal opinion, satisfying the prompt requirements. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention economic benefits and personal freedom, the arguments lack depth and specific examples. For instance, the point about 'factories being empty' is a bit vague. To improve, ensure each paragraph has a clear topic sentence and fully explains the 'why' and 'how' behind your claims. Your position is clear, but the supporting evidence needs to be more robust and academic in tone to reach a higher band.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your argument. You use some cohesive devices like 'Admittedly', 'In contrast', and 'Furthermore'. However, the flow is occasionally interrupted by mechanical phrasing and repetitive sentence structures. Some transitions feel forced or slightly unnatural, such as 'in here the employers and the owner'. To improve, focus on using a wider variety of linking words and ensure that pronouns clearly refer back to the intended nouns to improve the overall cohesion of your paragraphs.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to convey your meaning clearly. You use some topic-specific terms like 'skilled professionals' and 'living standard'. However, there is a reliance on basic vocabulary and some awkward collocations, such as 'many people has a opinion' and 'better air to breathe'. To reach a higher band, try to incorporate more precise academic vocabulary and avoid informal phrasing. Expanding your range of synonyms and focusing on correct word forms will significantly enhance your lexical score.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the essay, particularly with subject-verb agreement ('many people has a opinion', 'the workers has the respect') and article usage. While you attempt some complex sentence structures, they are often marred by errors that occasionally make the text difficult to read. Your control over basic grammar needs strengthening before you can effectively utilize more complex structures. Focus on proofreading for singular/plural consistency and ensuring that your verb tenses are used correctly throughout the response.
