Student answer (Band 5.5)

The professionals like doctors and engineers play a very significant role for country because the they are the backbone of human healthcare and country economy, hence some people says that they should work in country where they did there education instead of working in another country. I will demonstrate both views and opinion in this essay.

On the one hand, the country play a kin role on educating children and help them to become a professionals like doctors and engineers, but due to so much competition and unemployment they shift to another country. People shift to other place because they get work as per their choice and benefit them many ways. There are many reasons like career opportunity and growth of income because of high currency. However, the main disadvantage is you have to get separate from your loved once and have to start whole new life.

On the one hand, instead of going to work for other country you should work for your own country for increasing the economy and collaboration. Once you study you get more bonding and connection at that place which help you in several ways. Staying in same place can be more convenient, reliable and beneficial for your own. You can get more facilities and advantages like medical help, priority jobs and easy to communicate.

In conclusion, I believe the first priority of work should be in country where you study and help in innovation and their people, however if you do not get career opportunity and handful income you should shift to another country.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion in the conclusion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. For instance, the points regarding 'career opportunity' and 'growth of income' are mentioned but not fully explored or supported with specific examples. The essay tends to over-generalize, and the arguments lack the depth required for a higher band. While the prompt is addressed, the explanation of why professionals should stay or leave remains at a basic level, lacking the nuanced analysis expected at higher levels.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. However, the use of cohesive devices is somewhat mechanical and repetitive. For example, the transition 'On the one hand' is used twice to introduce the two opposing views, which is incorrect usage. Additionally, some sentences lack smooth transitions, making the flow feel slightly disjointed. Referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the phrase 'beneficial for your own', where the noun being referred to is ambiguous. Paragraphing is present but could be more effectively utilized to separate distinct ideas.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. There are several instances of awkward phrasing and word choice errors, such as 'kin role' (likely meant 'key role'), 'handful income' (likely meant 'substantial' or 'decent income'), and 'get separate from your loved once' (should be 'separated' and 'ones'). These errors are noticeable and occasionally impede the flow of the text. The range of vocabulary is limited, relying on basic terms rather than more sophisticated or topic-specific collocations.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('some people says'), article usage ('the country play a kin role'), and incorrect word forms ('they are the backbone of... country economy'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage. While the meaning is generally clear, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar structures prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. More attention to proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy is needed.
