Student answer (Band 5.5)
The professionals are the assets of any country who serve their country with multiple services. Professionals like doctors and engineers play vital role in the development of country. Mostly, professional choose to pursue their higher studies in well developed countries to learn technological advancements and then they use these advancement in their own country for better outputs.
This essay is based on the issue that mostly people believe that professional should work in the country where they did their training while other sector believes they should be free to work in another country if they wish.
Firstly, the people believe that professionals should work in the country where they completed training because they learned the techniques and professionalism from this country so they should serve this country.
However, the other sector opposes this belief and they think that professionals should come back to their homeland. I also argue with that professionals should come back to their own country. Because, the people from less developed countries move abroad for their higher studies. So, they learn technological advancements from well developed countries, and after learning they should come back to their own country to serve the people of their state with techniques they learned from abroad. It's the right of nation that professionals should come back and treat the people of own country from serious diseases. After doing professionalism from well developed countries they should come back to work in the progress of their own least developed country to make it developed.
Hence, people should travel to abroad but they should come back to pay the rights of their own people and country.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat repetitive and lacks depth. For instance, the argument for professionals returning home is stated multiple times without introducing new supporting evidence or nuanced perspectives. The essay would benefit from exploring the counter-argument (the right to work anywhere) more thoroughly, as it is currently dismissed rather quickly. While the position is clear, the supporting points are somewhat simplistic, which limits the score to a 5.5.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the logical flow is hindered by repetitive phrasing and a lack of sophisticated cohesive devices. While transition words like 'Firstly' and 'However' are used, the connections between sentences often feel mechanical. The referencing is sometimes unclear, such as in the sentence 'I also argue with that professionals should come back', where the phrasing is awkward. Paragraphing is present, but the internal structure of the paragraphs could be improved to ensure a more natural progression of ideas.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. There is frequent repetition of basic terms like 'country', 'professionals', and 'well developed'. Some word choices are inaccurate or unnatural, such as 'do not pay the rights of their own people' or 'doing professionalism'. To improve, you should aim to use more precise collocations and a wider variety of synonyms to avoid repetitive language and demonstrate a more sophisticated command of English.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Common issues include missing articles (e.g., 'in development of country'), incorrect preposition usage, and awkward phrasing (e.g., 'the people from less developed countries move abroad for their higher studies'). While the meaning is generally understandable, the frequency of these errors prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Focusing on subject-verb agreement and article usage would significantly improve the accuracy of your writing.
