Student answer (Band 6.0)
Few individuals think that higher authorities like doctors and engineers should plan to settle down with their work profession in the same country where they have qualified their position, Although i opine with some individuals who think these professionals can work in any part of the country.
On the one hand, some individuals believe that professionals should work with in the country as it is a advantage with same culture and being near to family. Furthermore, settling with in a country can be beneficial such as language to interact will be easy with being near to family will be a mental peace. For example, professionals like doctors will be in a safer side where people stay with one universal language in the country and engineers or any sector employee will feel comfortable to live in same culture.
On the other hand, i favour those individuals who believe that this higher authorities should be settled in foreign country whereas they can be beneficial economically and have a new place to explore. Furthermore, this can be beneficial because when we decide to work in foreign country there will be a major differences in incomes and it will be a financial advantage. Also we can have a new environment with different cultural people. For instance, some professionals like cricket players prefer to move to abroad countries.
In conclusion, in my opinion, i think people should plan to be settled in foreign countries where there are several benefits for their well being particularly in developed countries. although some opine that this people should plan to settle down in same country where they have done their training.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the argument regarding 'mental peace' and 'universal language' is repetitive and lacks depth. The example of 'cricket players' is not particularly relevant to the prompt, which specifically asks about professionals like doctors and engineers. To improve, you should provide more substantial, logical reasoning for why these specific professionals should or should not be restricted, rather than relying on generalisations about culture or sports players.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organised into clear paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. You use basic cohesive devices like 'On the one hand', 'On the other hand', and 'In conclusion' to signal shifts in the argument. However, the internal cohesion within paragraphs is sometimes mechanical, and the flow between sentences can feel disjointed. For example, the transition between the benefits of staying in a country and the specific example of doctors is slightly abrupt. Improving the use of referencing and more varied linking words would enhance the logical flow.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and range required for a higher band. You rely on repetitive phrasing, such as 'settle down' and 'beneficial'. There are also some awkward collocations, such as 'higher authorities' to refer to doctors and engineers, and 'safer side'. To achieve a higher score, you should aim to use more academic vocabulary and precise collocations related to the topic, such as 'professional mobility', 'brain drain', or 'international career prospects'.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally distract the reader. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'this higher authorities should be'), article usage (e.g., 'in foreign country'), and awkward phrasing (e.g., 'where they have qualified their position'). While the meaning is generally clear, these persistent errors in basic grammar and sentence construction prevent the essay from reaching a higher band. Focusing on proofreading for articles and pluralisation would be highly beneficial.
