Student answer (Band 5.5)
Many people believe that professions, such as doctors and engineers should be required to work in the country where they did training. And many believe they should be free to work in another country if they wish.
Professions such as doctors and engineers are really important in every time. It takes almost four years to become a doctor and then 1 year or six months for training session. And to become an engineer also take around four years. And their is also a training session in engineering. Both profession takes a long period. And training session is really important for both professions. Many students get confuse on this thing what they can do after degree completion. Many students dreamed of to shift abroad. As they want to experience this thing. And there are many opportunities for students who want to continue their profession in another coube free ntry after degree. Which is a good thing as well they can explore new country. They will face some difficulties in start but they start getting adjust.
In many countries, students apply for jobs after degree completion. They want to be independent. And to solve their problems by their own. Countries such as Germany, USA, Canada. Really support their students to fulfil their dreams. By this thing students don't need to be dependent on their parents or elder sibling.
In my opinion, students should be free to work in another country if they wish we should not force them to job in their country or they only have to do job in abroad. We have to allow them to decide what they want to do. But i really prefer to job in abroad as we can learn lot of new things by this.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is limited. The essay relies on general statements rather than providing specific, well-supported arguments. For instance, the discussion on why students move abroad is somewhat repetitive and lacks depth regarding the economic or social implications for the home country. The points made about Germany, USA, and Canada are relevant but are not fully connected to the core debate about mandatory service. To improve, you should expand on the 'why' behind each perspective, ensuring that your examples directly support your reasoning rather than just listing countries or general observations.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organised into paragraphs, but the logical progression is often hindered by short, choppy sentences and a lack of effective cohesive devices. Many sentences start with 'And' or 'Many', which creates a repetitive structure. While the overall message is understandable, the transition between ideas is often mechanical. For example, the shift from discussing the length of training to the decision to move abroad lacks a clear linking phrase. To improve, focus on using a wider variety of transition words like 'consequently', 'furthermore', or 'on the other hand' to better connect your thoughts and improve the flow of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is generally basic and repetitive. You frequently use simple words like 'really', 'thing', and 'job'. There are also instances of awkward phrasing, such as 'get confuse on this thing' and 'start getting adjust'. While the vocabulary is sufficient to convey the basic meaning, it lacks the precision and range required for a higher band. To improve, try to incorporate more academic collocations and topic-specific vocabulary related to professional migration, such as 'brain drain', 'career advancement', 'compulsory service', or 'international mobility'. Avoiding informal fillers like 'thing' will significantly enhance the professional tone of your writing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and some attempted complex structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the flow. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'Both profession takes'), article usage (e.g., 'in start'), and sentence fragments (e.g., 'And to solve their problems by their own'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with sentence boundaries. While the meaning is generally clear, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Focus on mastering subject-verb agreement and ensuring that every sentence has a clear subject and a finite verb.
