Student answer (Band 6.0)
In recent years, working professionals such as doctors and engineers required an extensive training before they work in their main field. Some people argue that they should be required to work in the country where they received their training, while others believe that they should be free to work in another country if they wish. In my opinion, professionals should have the freedom to work in any country, if they meet their professional requirements.
On the one hand, if professionals work in same country where they received their training, it can provide them with a wide range of opportunities. This is because people can apply their skills, techniques, standards, and knowledge that they acquired during their training. For example, if a person completes training in India and migrates to Germany for work, they may face challenges such as a language barrier, difficulty in task achievements, and the difference in professional practices. Additionally, allowing professionals to work in their home country helps in developing more advanced technologies. A person gets chance to apply their knowledge, skills and working practices that are required by the country in creating useful technology. This may help the country to become more advanced in some areas compared to different countries.
On the other hand, critics argue that working in foreign countries contributes in a personal and professional development of an individuals. They may learn several new technologies, tools, skills, and standard practices that were not used and followed in their home country. These help in their career growth. Furthermore, this trend is beneficial for developing countries where very few number of working professionals are available. If people migrate to these countries, they may help these countries to maintain their consistent growth in several fields. This can also provide the career opportunities to an individual.
In conclusion, people working in same countries where they received their training help with the wide range of opportunities and help the country to become more advanced in some areas. However, allowing individuals to work in the foreign countries benefits the developing countries and contributes in personal and professional development of an individual. I believe that people have the freedom to work in any country, as long as they meet the requirements of their profession.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
You have addressed all parts of the prompt, discussing both viewpoints and providing a clear personal opinion in the introduction and conclusion. The ideas are relevant and generally well-developed. However, the development of the first body paragraph is slightly repetitive, focusing on the challenges of migration rather than fully exploring the benefits of local retention. To reach a higher band, ensure that each supporting point is distinct and fully explored. Your position is consistent throughout the essay, which is a strength.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is logically organized with a clear introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. You use cohesive devices such as 'On the one hand', 'On the other hand', and 'Furthermore' to guide the reader. However, some transitions feel a bit mechanical, and the referencing is occasionally slightly imprecise, such as in the final paragraph where 'people working in same countries' could be phrased more naturally. Paragraphing is used effectively to separate the two opposing views, which helps the overall flow of the argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'migrates', 'professional practices', and 'consistent growth'. There are some minor inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'very few number of working professionals' (should be 'a small number') and 'contributes in a personal' (should be 'contributes to'). While you attempt to use more sophisticated vocabulary, some phrasing remains slightly simplistic. Expanding your range of collocations and ensuring prepositions are used correctly with specific verbs will help improve this score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is always clear, there are frequent minor errors in grammar, such as article usage ('the foreign countries' should be 'foreign countries') and subject-verb agreement ('professionals... required' should be 'require'). Additionally, there are issues with pluralization and prepositions, such as 'contributes in' instead of 'contributes to'. These errors do not impede communication, but they are frequent enough to prevent a higher band. Focusing on proofreading for small grammatical slips would be highly beneficial.
