Student answer (Band 6.0)
One section of society believes that doctors and engineers should be required to work in the nation where they did their training. While, another section of society thinks that they should be independent to work where they want. I will discuss both viewpoints along with my opinion in the following paragraphs.
on the one hand, professional should work in a country where they completed their training. Working in a same country would be convenient for them, because they are already familiar with the tools and techniques of the country. Moreover, generate revenue to the government. while paying tax from their income to the government helps the country financialy and authority can spend that money to the infrastructure due to which more jobs will be created.
On the other hand, professional should be free to work anywhere. Working in the foreign countries helps them to make thier knowledge wider and they would get chance to learn new cultural values. Additinaly, working in the other nations, like the USA leads to earn high salary due to which they can live better lifestyle and fulfill their basic needs easily. For example, a survey was conducted in the USA, which showed that professinal who prefered to work in the develop nations were living a better quality of life than others.
To conclude, no doubt working in same nation would be convenient but i believe that it should be depent on the person choice wether they like to do job in same country or other nations .

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both viewpoints and provides a clear personal opinion in the conclusion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the argument regarding 'generating revenue' is underdeveloped and lacks specific explanation of how this functions in practice. While the prompt asks for reasons and examples, the example provided about the USA is quite vague and lacks sufficient detail to fully support the argument. To reach a higher band, you should aim to expand your supporting points with more depth and provide more concrete, illustrative examples that directly relate to the professional context of doctors and engineers.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear progression of ideas from the introduction to the conclusion. You use basic cohesive devices such as 'On the one hand,' 'On the other hand,' and 'Moreover' to signal shifts in the argument. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical, and there are instances where the flow is interrupted by grammatical errors or awkward phrasing, such as the transition between the introduction and the first body paragraph. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring smoother transitions between sentences would enhance the overall coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary used is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to convey your meaning clearly. You attempt to use some topic-specific vocabulary like 'revenue,' 'infrastructure,' and 'developed nations.' However, there are several instances of word-choice errors and awkward collocations, such as 'independent to work' instead of 'free to work' and 'make their knowledge wider' instead of 'broaden their knowledge.' Additionally, there are spelling errors like 'thier,' 'Additinaly,' and 'professinal.' To improve, focus on learning common collocations and proofreading for spelling accuracy to ensure your lexical range is more precise.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you attempt complex sentences, they are frequently marred by grammatical inaccuracies, such as missing articles ('the' USA, 'the' government), incorrect verb forms ('professional should work' instead of 'professionals should work'), and punctuation errors. For example, the sentence 'While, another section of society thinks...' is grammatically incorrect due to the misplaced comma and the use of 'While' as a conjunction in this context. These errors occur frequently and occasionally cause the reader to pause, though they do not completely impede communication.
