Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, reaching only 159 words. This significantly impacts the development of ideas. While the essay addresses both views and provides an opinion, the arguments are underdeveloped and lack sufficient supporting examples or depth. The conclusion is brief and does not fully synthesize the points raised. To improve, you must expand on your arguments with specific examples and ensure you meet the length requirement to allow for a full discussion of the prompt.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the progression of ideas is limited by the brevity of the text. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'furthermore' and 'however', but they are sometimes used incorrectly or in a mechanical way. The referencing is occasionally unclear, and the lack of sentence variety makes the flow feel somewhat disjointed. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring each paragraph has a clear topic sentence supported by detailed explanation would enhance the overall coherence.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is generally adequate for basic communication but lacks the range and precision required for a higher band. There are instances of awkward phrasing, such as 'in positive way' and 'mentality', which do not fit the context. The repetition of basic words like 'skilled' and 'professionals' limits the lexical variety. To achieve a higher score, you should focus on using more precise collocations and a wider range of academic vocabulary to express your ideas more naturally.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors, including issues with sentence structure, punctuation, and article usage (e.g., 'In recent years, the emigration... in the society', 'most of countries available in free education'). There are also fragments and run-on sentences. While the meaning is generally clear, the lack of complex sentence structures and the persistent errors in basic grammar prevent a higher score. You should focus on mastering subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles and prepositions.
