Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. For instance, the argument regarding 'loyalty' and 'local culture' is mentioned but not fully explored with specific examples. The second body paragraph discusses the benefits of moving abroad, but the points are slightly disjointed. While the task is addressed, the ideas lack the depth required for a higher band. The conclusion is a bit abrupt and does not fully synthesize the arguments presented, though it does restate the writer's position.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear attempt to use cohesive devices such as 'Moreover', 'Furthermore', and 'In conclusion'. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly inaccurate, such as 'To illustrates the main ideal approach' (grammatical error) and 'despite having positive side it leads detrimental impacts'. The flow between sentences is occasionally interrupted by these errors, which makes the progression of ideas feel a bit forced at times. Paragraphing is present, but the internal structure of the paragraphs could be more cohesive.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but there are frequent errors in word choice and spelling, such as 'boundations' (non-standard), 'opportutnities', 'lesiure', 'hightect', and 'ubiquitos'. While the student attempts to use more sophisticated terms like 'detrimental impacts' and 'paramount', the overall range is limited. The errors in spelling and word formation are noticeable and occasionally distract the reader, though they do not completely impede communication. To improve, the student needs to focus on accurate spelling and more precise collocations.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, such as 'I will discuss my opinion below that why having no limitation would lead greater results' and 'all these factors proves the advantage'. Subject-verb agreement and preposition usage are inconsistent. While the meaning is generally clear, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar and sentence construction prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. The student should focus on proofreading for basic subject-verb agreement and sentence structure accuracy.
