Student answer (Band 6.0)
Most of individuals ask that doctors should work in that country where they got training while others argue that they should be independent to work in any country. Staying at one place limits the learning. If they go in several countries they would be able to learn new things. In my opinion they should be free to work in any country.
If a doctor is limited in one place where he or she got training then they would become perfect in what they are doing there but they could not learn new things. For example, there are several diseases in Africa which are almost not in America. If a doctor got training from America and asked to work their so he would never learn about other diseases that are in other countries. Moreover, if a doctor works at same place for a long time and curing patient of same disease he or she would feel boring.
On other hand, if a doctor is free to work in any country he wants could bring many benefits. It will be beneficial for that doctor and also for others. For example, if a doctor got training about a severe disease and went to another country where doctors don't know much about that disease then the foreigner doctor will teach them. Further more the foreigner doctor will also be able to learn something new from that countries doctors. In addition to this doctor also loves his or her profession as they travels and don't feel boring.
In conclusion, staying at one place will limit the ability to learn new things while traveling to other countries brings many benefits to both foreigner and local doctors. So they should be independent in choosing their desired country.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you provide an example regarding diseases in Africa versus America, the explanation remains quite simplistic. To achieve a higher band, you should aim to expand on the implications of these ideas—for instance, discussing the 'brain drain' phenomenon or the global standardisation of medical practices. The position is consistent throughout, but the depth of analysis is more characteristic of a Band 5.5 or 6.0 level.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organised into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear progression of ideas. You use some cohesive devices such as 'Moreover', 'On other hand', and 'In addition to this'. However, some of these are used mechanically or with minor errors (e.g., 'On other hand' should be 'On the other hand'). Referencing is generally clear, but the flow between sentences could be improved by using a wider variety of linking words to connect ideas more fluidly rather than relying on simple transitions.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. You rely on basic phrasing such as 'feel boring' and 'learn new things' repeatedly. There are also some awkward collocations, such as 'Most of individuals ask that' (instead of 'Many people argue that') and 'foreigner doctor' (instead of 'international' or 'expatriate' doctor). To improve, focus on using more academic collocations and precise terminology related to professional mobility and global health.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the reader. Common issues include article usage ('in that country', 'in other countries'), subject-verb agreement, and preposition errors (e.g., 'work their' instead of 'work there'). While the meaning is generally clear, the frequency of these errors prevents the writing from reaching a higher band. You should focus on proofreading for basic subject-verb agreement and article consistency.
