Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention that countries invest in training, the explanation lacks depth, and the argument regarding the 'global' benefits of professionals working abroad is slightly underdeveloped. The conclusion is a bit repetitive and does not fully synthesize the points discussed. To improve, ensure that each body paragraph provides a clear, well-supported argument with specific examples that directly relate to the prompt's core tension between national duty and individual freedom.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear attempt to use cohesive devices such as 'To begin with', 'On the other hand', and 'In conclusion'. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and there are instances where referencing is unclear, such as 'The citizen obtaining these advantage'. Additionally, some transitions feel abrupt. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring that pronouns clearly refer back to their antecedents would help the text flow more naturally and improve the overall coherence.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but there are frequent errors in word choice and collocation that occasionally impede the reader's understanding. For example, 'expanses massive economy' should be 'spends a massive amount of money', and 'upcoming regeneration' is an incorrect collocation for 'future generations'. You attempt to use some academic vocabulary, but the lack of precision in word forms (e.g., 'skill manpower' instead of 'skilled manpower') limits the score. Focusing on learning common collocations and ensuring correct word forms will significantly enhance your lexical range.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
There is a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but the essay contains frequent grammatical errors. Issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'the professional such as doctors... essential to work'), missing articles, and incorrect verb forms (e.g., 'should allow to serve' instead of 'should be allowed to serve'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with the use of semicolons and sentence fragments. While the meaning is generally clear, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. You should focus on proofreading for subject-verb agreement and consistent verb tense usage.
