Student answer (Band 5.0)
This is a sensitive topic. Some people love to work in the environment. On the contrary some desires to work in a new and challenging environment.
People believe that professionals should work in the place they got their training from because they are just narrow minded. They think that professionals should only benefit their own people and country. In their opinion serving others is unfair to their own people. Which is somehow selfishness.
On the other some people think that professionals should be free to work. They should work wherever they want either its their own country or some other country. This way they can get exposure to new world and things, which is very good for their professional life as well as it give them confidence.
In my opinion, people who do not leave their comfort zone, can't achieve big in life. If people stay their whole life at one place, they might get bored. They can get addicted to their environment which is not a good sign. People should always explore new ideas, places and try everything. This is one of the best approach according to my point of view. Living in the same environment make people slave to everything around them. People loose their confidence. People become introverts. Communication becomes a hurdle of them. They can't think out of box. So people should always have their own will, wherever they want to work. And preferably they should not stuck to one place or country, professionals should kept exploring new things, places, ideas and communicate with new people from different environment.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses both views and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is limited and relies on sweeping generalizations rather than logical argumentation. For instance, the claim that people who stay in one place 'become introverts' or 'lose their confidence' is an unsupported assertion that lacks depth. The task requires a more balanced and analytical discussion of the economic or social implications of professionals working abroad versus staying home. The arguments are somewhat repetitive, focusing heavily on personal growth rather than the professional or societal impact requested by the prompt.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the flow between ideas is often mechanical and lacks sophisticated linking. Transitions such as 'On the other' (which should be 'On the other hand') and 'Which is somehow selfishness' are grammatically incomplete and disrupt the logical progression. The use of cohesive devices is limited and sometimes inaccurate, making the text feel disjointed. While the paragraphing is present, the internal structure of the paragraphs lacks the necessary logical development to guide the reader smoothly through the argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is basic and repetitive. Phrases like 'get exposure to new world and things' and 'achieve big in life' are imprecise and lack the academic tone required for IELTS Task 2. There is a reliance on simple, everyday language, and some word choices are awkward or incorrect, such as 'make people slave to everything' or 'stuck to one place'. To reach a higher band, you need to incorporate more precise, topic-specific vocabulary related to professional mobility, economic development, and career progression.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. There are issues with subject-verb agreement ('some desires to work'), article usage, and sentence structure ('Communication becomes a hurdle of them'). The range of structures is limited, consisting mostly of simple or compound sentences. Complex structures are attempted but often contain errors, such as 'Living in the same environment make people slave'. Punctuation is also inconsistent, and the overall control of grammar is insufficient to convey complex ideas accurately.
