Student answer (Band 5.0)
Most of the public believe that professionals including doctors and engineers should focus to work in their country where they do practicals and training. and other believes they should work in another country.
in my concept professionals including doctors and engineers who achieve their success by doing practical and training should work in their home country to serve their nation. the reason is that if they work in their country the economy becomes better also they should give training to the beginners on which the impact is that our country should not need to welcome other peoples from other nationwide.
On the one hand the in our country there is shortage of doctors in hospitals and engineers in different industries so if the professionals give training other public the new doctors and engineers born who serve the nation in right way.
On the other hand if the professionals work for another country they boost their economy on which the negative impact on our nation is the shortage of professionals. Nowadays every single person wants to move abroad for their better future but if we focus to work in our country we can manage our economy by self. If every single person who wants to move abroad should focus to work in their home country because our country need us as we know there is a shortage of professionals like doctors and engineers.
in conclusion i agree with the people who said that professionals who took training from their home country also should focus on working in their home country which is a best way to serve our nation.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses both parts of the task, discussing the view that professionals should stay in their training country and the view that they should be free to move abroad, while also presenting a clear personal opinion. The writer's position is maintained throughout the essay. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and repetitive. For instance, the arguments regarding economic impact and the shortage of professionals in domestic hospitals and industries are introduced, but they lack extension with fully realised specific examples. Terms such as 'the economy becomes better' and 'manage our economy by self' remain broad and lack precision. Consequently, this performance fits the Band 5 descriptors where ideas are present but under-developed, though all parts of the prompt are addressed.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay displays some overall organisation with basic paragraphing, separating the introduction, body points, and conclusion. However, cohesion is heavily compromised by mechanical and inaccurate linking devices, as seen with 'On the one hand the in our country...' and repetitive transitions. Paragraphing is also erratic, with fragmented sentences starting new lines improperly (e.g., lowercase 'in my concept' and 'in conclusion i agree'). Furthermore, referencing is frequently unclear, and the lack of a smooth progression makes it difficult for the reader to follow the flow of arguments comfortably. These features align closely with Band 5, where information shows some organisation, but cohesive devices are inadequate, repetitive, or poorly managed.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is limited and repetitive, relying on basic terms such as 'professionals', 'doctors', 'engineers', 'country', and 'economy' multiple times throughout the short text. There are notable word choice and collocation errors, such as 'focus to work' instead of 'focus on working', 'do practicals and training', and 'new doctors and engineers born'. Some spelling and capitalization errors are also present, such as 'nationwide' used where 'nation' or 'country' is intended, and lowercase letters at the beginning of sentences. Because the vocabulary is minimally adequate for the task but contains noticeable errors that occasionally hinder clarity, it meets the requirements for a Band 5 score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The student attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but control over grammar is weak. There are frequent grammatical errors, particularly regarding verb patterns ('should focus to work', 'are the shortage'), prepositions, and article usage ('the economy becomes better', 'the new doctors'). Punctuation and capitalization are poorly controlled, with missing capital letters at the beginnings of sentences and sentence fragments run together. Complex structures tend to be faulty or awkwardly phrased, such as 'on which the impact is that our country should not need to welcome other peoples'. These frequent errors cause some difficulty for the reader, placing the grammar securely in the Band 5 category.
