Student answer (Band 5.0)
First of all everyone has a right to do whatever they want to do doctors and engineers study really hard these are the profession which play a very important role in our life so some people think that professionals such as doctors and engineers should serve where they did their training but on the other hand there are people who beleive that choice must be up on them furtherly I will discuss both these views and will give my on opinion.
People who has opinion that doctor and engineer should be required to work in the country where they did their training because they now learn from that country they beleive that they study according to that country so they will serve better in this country then any other country because people beleive thtat way of doing work in different countries is different therefore they say that they must serve there where they did their training.
On the other hand some people believe that they should be free to work in any other country if they wish because they have right to choose what is good for them they study theire whole life these people also give point that lot of people go to other countries to get heigher and better education so it does not mean that they are leaving theire country these people say that if they get training from any other country but they are willing to serve in theire homeland so they should be appericiated
In my opinion i would say the choice must be up on them we can not force any one i beleive that they work and study really hard so we should reward them in this way.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing both views on whether professionals should be required to work in their training country or be free to move, and it provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and repetitive. For instance, the argument regarding professionals studying hard is restated without being sufficiently extended with concrete examples or deeper elaboration. The reasoning relies on generalisations about people believing that work methods differ across countries, but these ideas remain basic. According to the Band 6 descriptors, the task is addressed, but some parts are under-developed and lack depth.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay lacks proper punctuation, capitalisation, and paragraph breaks, which severely impacts coherence and cohesion. The entire text—except for the introduction and conclusion blocks—is structured as massive run-on sentences, such as in the second paragraph starting with 'People who has opinion that doctor and engineer...'. There is an almost complete absence of full stops, commas, and clear transitional phrases to guide the reader through the argument. While the overall arrangement attempts to follow a logical progression from introduction to body paragraphs and a conclusion, the mechanical failures in punctuation and sentence boundary demarcation pull the score down to a Band 4.5, rounded to 5.0 based on the presence of basic signposting like 'on the other hand'.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The student uses an adequate vocabulary range to communicate basic ideas about professionals, training, and freedom of choice, as seen in words like 'professionals', 'training', 'homeland', and 'appreciated'. However, there are frequent spelling errors such as 'beleive', 'furtherly', 'theire', 'heigher', and 'appericiated'. Furthermore, word choices and collocations are often awkward or non-standard, such as 'up on them' instead of 'up to them'. Because these errors occasionally cause slight hesitation for the reader but do not completely impede communication, the response fits the Band 5 descriptor for Lexical Resource.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0
Grammatically, the text demonstrates severe limitations. The entire response consists of run-on sentences joined by commas or lacking punctuation entirely, resulting in a total absence of terminal punctuation until the very end of paragraphs. There are major agreement errors, such as 'everyone has a right' followed by unpunctuated clauses, and 'People who has opinion' instead of 'People who have the opinion'. Complex structures are attempted through dependent clauses, but they are consistently faulty due to run-on constructions and missing punctuation. This level of control aligns closely with the Band 4 descriptor, where errors are frequent and sentence boundaries are blurred, though communication is just maintained.
