Student answer (Band 5.5)
There are few individuals who have the opinion that professionals, such as doctors and engineers must have to work in the particular country where they did practice. Some others have the thought that they are free to do what they want. Everyone has free will in the present world. So to persue a profession in a specific region depends on the personal taste of that particular person.
Initially, I would talk about working in the same country where a person has completed his training. In that case such a person is soo much tangled with that place that he knows all the problems faced by the people of that particular area and is always keen to solve the problem in order to associate the inhabitants. Further those are also familiar to the environment of that place and knows that what are the reforms that are required during a certain period of time when there are false conditions occuring. Being on a same place for a long time such people also have a wide range of links which help them to get their required job. Those people also knows the basic resources available in that area and perform their tasks regarding to them.
Secondly, working in a different country is also encouraged as it has a vast range of advantages as a person working in a different region to whom he was not familiar earlier so he has the chance to explore that new world in order to build new links and to know the basic problem faced by the natives. Such people also give their best in order to help the people regarding to the problems occuring. And as we know that in the present age everyone is independent and has a free will to do what they want no matter what affect would it cause to other people because everyone is just busy in himself and have no spare time to contradict or to fight with others regarding to their thoughts and opinions. So if you are interested in working in a particular region you can.
In my opinion, I would support both ideas as they both have their own significance. Workng in the same country where you practiced helped you a lot in the different scenerio as compared to the scenerio opposite to it. Like if you are in another country you have a wide range of exposure and you are able to work at international stage and as a result such a person has more links and interaction as compared to the other one.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses both parts of the prompt regarding working in the home country versus abroad, and presents a clear personal opinion in the conclusion, stating support for both ideas. Ideas are generally relevant, such as discussing local problem-solving versus international exposure. However, the development of these ideas tends to be repetitive and somewhat superficial, particularly in the body paragraphs where concepts like 'links' and 'helping people' are frequently restated without deep extension. There is also a tendency to drift into general philosophical statements about free will rather than maintaining a strict focus on professional obligations. This places the response comfortably at Band 6, as it addresses all parts of the task with relevant ideas, but some points remain under-developed or unclear.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with a clear attempt to structure the response into introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion. Paragraphing is utilised, though the body paragraphs are quite long and dense. Cohesive devices are used, but they are often basic or somewhat mechanical, such as 'Initially', 'Secondly', and 'In my opinion'. Furthermore, referencing and logical progression are occasionally faulty, leading to run-on sentences and a lack of smooth transitions between ideas. For instance, the transition from local resources to international exposure in the final paragraph feels abrupt. Overall, the cohesion meets the criteria for Band 6 through an adequate overall arrangement despite faulty or mechanical referencing at times.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The student demonstrates an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, successfully incorporating terms such as 'professionals', 'inhabitants', 'reforms', and 'exposure'. However, there are noticeable limitations and inaccuracies in word choice and collocation. Examples include 'persue' (pursue), 'soo much tangled', 'associate the inhabitants' (assist the inhabitants), and 'scenerio' (scenario). Attempts to use less common vocabulary sometimes result in unnatural phrasing. While these errors do not seriously impede communication, they restrict the lexical score. Therefore, a band score of 5.5 is appropriate, reflecting an adequate range that falls just short of the consistent precision required for a Band 6.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, utilizing relative clauses and conditional structures. However, grammatical accuracy is inconsistent. There are frequent errors in verb forms, prepositions, and agreement, such as 'must have to work', 'those are also familiar', 'knows that what are', and 'Workng in the same country... helped you'. Punctuation is also weak, with several run-on sentences lacking appropriate boundary markers. While simple sentences are generally correct and meaning is mostly clear, the accumulation of errors in complex structures pulls the score to Band 5.0, where frequent errors in grammar cause some difficulty and strain for the reader.
