Student answer (Band 6.0)
A number of people believe that doctors or engineers like professionals should be working in the homeland country where they get their trainings. While other people believe that they should be free to work anywhere according to their wish, This subject however requires further analysis.
A group of people assume that professionals like doctors and engineers must work in the country where they got educated and had their trainings, the reason of them thinking like this is that they can serve their country like that and their country can have a good reputation among other countries in the world of researches and inventions. It will also be beneficial for the people of their homeland because the people can avail more and more opportunites, have good medical treatments as well. As a reference from a report published in year 2019 in the report it was written that all the senior doctors and engineers who had invented or has done new researches are the reason for the better reputation of our country.
Other people believe that they have the freedom and right to work where ever they want to and if the matter is of making a good reputation for your country it is possible anywhere around the globe in last few years doctors and engineers had made a good name of their homeland while working in various part of the world and they have also recieved international awards that has earned good name for their country. Another factor is that they can earn and have more ooportunites while doing their research work or inventions in other countries and donate their money to their homeland that can also benefit their country.
In my opinnion, every person should have a free will to work where ever they want to and they can serve their country by achieving countless achievements and payback their country only if they have the intention to payback.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt regarding working in the home country versus abroad, and presents a clear personal opinion in the final paragraph. Ideas are introduced and supported with reasons, such as national reputation and personal financial benefits. However, some arguments lack deep development and tend to over-generalize or rely on vague supporting references, such as 'As a reference from a report published in year 2019'. This places the response solidly at Band 6, where all parts are addressed with relevant ideas, but some remain under-developed or unclear.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with a clear introduction, two body paragraphs exploring opposing views, and a concluding stance. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate distinct ideas. However, cohesion is sometimes faulty or mechanical. For instance, the transition 'This subject however requires further analysis' is abrupt, and run-on structures or repetitive referencing (e.g., repeating 'people believe that doctors or engineers like professionals') weaken the logical flow between sentences. These features align closely with Band 6 descriptors.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The student uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, successfully incorporating topic-related terms such as 'professionals', 'inventions', and 'international awards'. However, there are noticeable spelling and word-choice errors, such as 'trainings' (which is uncountable), 'homeland country' (redundant), 'ooportunites' (spelling), and 'opinnion' (spelling). Less common vocabulary is attempted but often results in awkward collocations or minor inaccuracies. Because the errors do not impede overall communication, the performance fits Band 6.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay demonstrates a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, though complex structures frequently contain grammatical inaccuracies or run-on tendencies, such as in the sentence 'while working in various part of the world and they have also recieved international awards that has earned good name for their country.' Punctuation errors are also present, including comma splices and missing periods. While communication is maintained and some sentences are accurate, the frequency of grammatical slips prevents the response from reaching a Band 7.
