Student answer (Band 5.0)
It is often argued that professionnal who recieve training should remain there to work while other claims that they should have freedom to migrate.
On the one hand, there are compelling reasons why doctors and engineers should work in their country where they were trained. As the many country subsidizes the students in their education. For example in Pakistan and India medical education in private universities are funded by taxpayer so thats why Graduates should serve the local community in return. Many countries there are a shortage of professional such as Pakistan rural areas are facing many challenges in healthcare system. Nowadays many people were moving abroad for job opportunities from the medical and engineer field.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The student addresses all parts of the prompt by discussing both views—that professionals should remain in their home country and that they should have the freedom to migrate—and touches upon a personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and repetitive. For instance, the discussion on taxation and funding is introduced with examples from Pakistan and India, but it remains brief and lacks full extension. The conclusion is abruptly cut off mid-sentence, which prevents the final viewpoint from being fully realized. In terms of Band Descriptors, the response aligns best with Band 5.5 to 6.0; while the task is addressed, ideas are under-developed and the conclusion is incomplete.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is divided into paragraphs, but the overall organization and progression are hindered by frequent structural and grammatical errors. Transitional phrases like 'On the one hand' and 'On the other hand' are employed to signpost the two views, yet the internal cohesion within paragraphs is often faulty. For example, sentences such as 'As the many country subsidizes the students' and 'As the there are many reasons of moving abroad' display awkward referencing and repetitive connectors. Paragraphing is attempted, but the final paragraph breaks off prematurely before a complete conclusion can be formed. These issues place the response firmly at Band 5.0 for coherence and cohesion.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is adequate for the task, allowing the student to communicate basic arguments about migration and professional training. However, there are numerous spelling errors ('professionnal', 'recive', 'qualty', 'benfitof', 'experiencemean') and instances of imprecise word choice ('in the medical and engineer field'). The student attempts some less common vocabulary, such as 'subsidizes', 'taxpayer', and 'economically', but these are offset by recurring lexical inaccuracies. The range is sufficient for Band 5.0, as the errors occasionally cause strain for the reader without completely obscuring the core message.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
Grammatically, the text demonstrates a very limited range of structures and frequent intrusive errors. Many sentences are fragmented or lack proper main clauses, such as 'As the many country subsidizes the students in their education' and 'As the there are many reasons of moving abroad because there may be high wages'. Subject-verb agreement issues and misuse of articles are prevalent ('a freedom', 'and country'). Complex sentence attempts are frequently faulty, leading to a high density of grammatical errors that impede smooth reading. This performance corresponds to a Band 5.0.
