Student answer (Band 6.0)
In the modern world, migration of highly qualified professionals such as doctors and engineers, is becoming a huge challenge and this issue sparked the serious debate among the public. Some people say they are free to work anywhere they want but critics argue that they must be work in the country where they completed their education. This essay will share both these views and give opinion.
On the one hand, doctors and engineers tends to move abroad after completing their training to avail better opportunities. countries such as USA, Canada, Australia, Japan have well equipped infrasture and health care sector, they not only offers lucrative perks and other previleges but also provide learing opportunities. For instance, graduates from Pakistan migrates to other countries everyyear, become experts in their field and earn hefty amount of money.
On the other hand, critics are often right because of people suffers alot by the mass migration of skill personnels. When everyone move to another country who will serve the nation, as the government spend taxpayers money on colleges and universities where student become professionals from the scratch. So in resturn it would be first and foremost duty for a compitent person to serves the nation. In addition to this, infrastructue and healthcare sector will be collapsed if everyone move to another country,
In my opinion, qualified persons must be move to abroad to enhances their skills and return back to their motherland. So they can serve their country in better way.
To conclude, getting training in different areas of life is necessary but important thing is that it would must be a priority of every citizen to come foward for the development and serving the people of their own country first.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response successfully addresses all parts of the prompt by discussing both views on whether professionals should work in their home country or abroad, and includes a clear personal opinion. The writer presents relevant ideas, such as career progression, financial incentives, and the loss of human capital for developing nations. However, some arguments tend to over-generalize and are slightly under-developed. For example, the mention of taxpayers' money and the collapse of healthcare sectors is introduced but lacks specific elaboration or deeper support. Despite these minor limitations, the overall task is adequately covered, demonstrating a clear understanding of the prompt requirements and establishing an appropriate academic position throughout the essay.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is coherent overall and follows a clear, logical paragraph structure with an introduction, body paragraphs addressing each side of the argument, a personal opinion, and a conclusion. However, cohesion is sometimes faulty or mechanical. While basic cohesive devices such as 'On the one hand' and 'On the other hand' are used correctly, referencing is occasionally unclear, as seen in sentences like 'In addition to this, infrastructue and healthcare sector will be collapsed if everyone move to another country,' where the transition feels abrupt. Furthermore, punctuation and paragraph breaks occasionally disrupt the logical flow of ideas, reflecting a Band 6 level where organisational structure is visible but mechanical.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary used is adequate for the task, demonstrating an attempt to use less common items such as 'lucrative perks,' 'previleges,' and 'skill personnels.' However, there are noticeable spelling and word-choice errors throughout the text, including 'infrasture,' 'learing,' 'migrates,' 'everyyear,' 'hefty amount,' 'previleges,' 'compitent,' and 'foward.' These errors do not impede communication since the reader can easily grasp the intended meaning, but they prevent the score from reaching a higher band. The lexical range is sufficient to convey the argument, but greater precision and accurate spelling are needed for a higher evaluation.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating some control over grammar. Examples include 'Some people say they are free to work anywhere they want but critics argue that they must be work in the country where they completed their education.' However, there are frequent grammatical errors, such as subject-verb agreement issues ('doctors and engineers tends,' 'people suffers'), incorrect modal verb structures ('must be work,' 'would must be'), and missing articles. Punctuation errors are also present, particularly missing spaces after full stops and commas. These frequent non-systematic errors cause occasional difficulty for the reader, placing the grammar firmly within the Band 5 descriptor range.
