Student answer (Band 5.5)
It has been a topic of discussion among many people whether various professionals, for instance, doctors or engineers, should continue their internships and practice for their career growth in the same country from where they have graduated whereas some people argue that they should follow their instincts of either moving to any foreign country or staying in the homeland, totally depends on one's own choice.
On the one hand, many individuals believe that one should be serving his own homeland rather than selling his skills in an unknown territory. We should have patriotism as well as fondness of aiding our own community first where we have grown and become successful. Getting the licence or registartion is quite easy. We must take adequate steps to help in the economical growth of our nation which will also brightens our future. Doctors from Pakistan performing liver or kidney transplants in foreign countries are marked more competent.
On the other hand, various people tend to believe that if a person wants to pursue his career internationally, he must consider any available opportunity. However, the registration and licensing process may consume time and is expensive in other regions. Similalry, if one wants to continue in his country it must be solely his own choice. Many developing countries lack opportunities for learning advance technologies, negligible capital for development and lesser positions in departments. These factors creates a sense of demotivation and stress. For this reason, professionals struggles to avail better options like moving to a developed country instead could enhace their skills and encourages them to excel in the future.
I agree with the idea that a person should prefer his comfort zone and mental peace at first. Secondly, looking upon his finacial stability he must take decision either staying in the homeland or commuting to other area would be beneficial for him in the long run or not. Apparently, residing in other countries is costly and time-consuming too. One should act according to his own thoughts

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing both views on whether professionals should work in their training country or abroad, and provides a clear opinion in the final paragraphs. The arguments regarding patriotism, economic growth, and lack of developing world opportunities are relevant and extended. However, there is a tendency to over-generalize in places, and some ideas could have been more fully developed. For instance, the discussion on licensing costs and personal choice could have been tied more tightly to the main question. Overall, the task is addressed adequately, earning a Band 6.5.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with clear paragraphing separating the introduction, two body paragraphs presenting opposing views, and the conclusion. Cohesive devices are employed, such as 'On the one hand', 'On the other hand', and 'However', which help guide the reader through the argumentation. However, referencing is sometimes unclear, and certain transitional expressions feel mechanical or slightly misused, such as 'Similalry' and 'Secondly' when no 'Firstly' was explicitly stated. Paragraph progression is generally logical, but logical links between sentences occasionally falter, such as in the transition into the concluding paragraph. This places the essay solidly at Band 6.0.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The student demonstrates an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting less common lexical items such as 'patriotism', 'economical growth', 'competent', and 'financial stability'. However, there are noticeable word-choice and spelling errors that detract from precision, such as 'registartion', 'brightens' instead of 'brighten', 'Similalry', 'advance technologies' instead of 'advanced technologies', and 'struggles' instead of 'struggle'. While these errors do not impede overall communication, they prevent the vocabulary from reaching a Band 7 level.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The writer uses a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating some capability with subordinate clauses, conditional ideas, and relative pronouns. However, there are frequent grammatical and punctuation errors throughout the text, including subject-verb agreement issues ('these factors creates', 'professionals struggles'), incorrect preposition usage ('perform liver or kidney transplants in foreign countries are marked more competent'), and spelling mistakes. Complex structures are often faulty, and although meaning remains clear, the density of errors prevents the grammar score from rising above Band 5.5.
