Student answer (Band 5.5)
People belonging to different professions have to work within or outside the country. While some people think that professionals should only work in their own homeland, because they understand the system very well. Others argue that doctors and engineers have no restriction and have right to do work anywhere. From my perspective, working abroad is the best way to gain valuabe international experience.
To begin with first perspective, some argue that people ought to work in their homeland, because they already know the rules and regulations very well, then they will not face any difficulty in future. However, they can also get paid internships in their own country that also enhance their experience. These hands-on practice aid them to work efficiently and vigilently in their departments. For instance, if a person is working as an internee in a hospital he or she already knows the SOPs and rules then it will easier for him to work as a staff. But in this case, individuals did not get more exposure of working in a vast system.
On the other hand, people believe that professionals have to move other countries to pursue their jobs. Through this, people interacting with multicultures in different fields. An example of doctor working in a hospital, where number of patients belonging to different religions. Not only the doctor dealing with them, also know about their culture. As a result, their interacting power with other is also very strong. They can easily communicate with everyone without hesitation. Another important point about working in other countries is the high wage. That's why people prefer working abroad to change their lifestyles.
To sum up, working in own country also have benefits but they are quite low compared with the abroad life. Although, persons become self-independent while working in other country. This will make them more strong and powerful and ready to face the challenges of the world.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing both views—that professionals should work in their training country and that they should be free to move abroad—and provides a clear personal opinion in the introduction stating that working abroad gains valuable international experience. The main body paragraphs explore reasons for staying in the home country, such as familiarity with rules, as well as the benefits of going abroad, including multicultural exposure and higher wages. However, some ideas are slightly under-developed or repetitive, such as the discussion around hospital SOPs and internships, placing this performance solidly at Band 6.0.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with a clear attempt at paragraphing, moving from an introduction to body paragraphs discussing different perspectives, and concluding with a summary. Cohesive devices are employed, such as To begin with first perspective, However, On the other hand, and To sum up. However, referencing and transitions are sometimes faulty or mechanical, as seen in awkward phrasing like To begin with first perspective. Paragraph transitions lack smoothness, and some sentences within paragraphs feel disjointed, which aligns with the Band 6 descriptors.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The student uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting less common items such as hands-on practice, vigilently, exposure, and multicultures. However, there are noticeable inaccuracies in word choice, collocation, and form, such as valuabe instead of valuable, internee instead of intern, interacting power instead of communication skills, and own country instead of their own country. Despite these errors, meaning is generally clear and communication is not impeded, fitting the Band 6 criteria well.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, incorporating conditional structures and relative clauses. However, there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including subject-verb agreement issues (e.g., individuals did not get, persons become), missing articles (e.g., have right, in hospital), and fragment sentences (e.g., That's why people prefer working abroad to change their lifestyles). While these errors do not severely impede communication, they reflect a limited control over complex structures, warranting a Band 5.5 score.
