Student answer (Band 6.0)
Most of the people nowadays think that professionals who work as a doctor and engineer should work in the nation from where they did their training. However, in contrast, others argue that they should be free to work in any country they want to. In this essay, I will discuss the both views, how professionals can easily adapt to the work environment by working in a particular nation, and how they can extend their knowledge and income by working freely in any other country.
One major benefit of working in the country from where professionals did their training is they can easily exposed and find really easy to work in the environment. During their training, they learn about the organizational culture and the required skill needed to use the tools and technologies which will help them in their later work. Additionally, they find it easy to expose to the rules and regulation of the particular country. As a results, they find it easy to work and develop their skills in short period of time. For example, Bangladesh had recently made a rule that every students should work for minimum two years after completing their study.
On the other hand, letting experts, such as doctors and engineers free to work to their desired country can help them increase their skills as well as income. In other words, they can expand their skills and knowledge by working in a developed country where advanced tools and technologies are used. Furthermore, they can also increase their income level. As a result, such experts can maintain their living standard along with a wide range of knowledge. For instance, the average monthly payment for doctors in Australia is thrice the payment of Nepal.
To conclude, although such exports can easily adapt to the work environment by working in a country where they did training, they can really earn a high level of income as well as expand their knowledge by working in their desired country.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
The response successfully addresses all parts of the task by discussing both views—that professionals should work where they trained and that they should be free to migrate—while also providing a clear personal opinion. The position is maintained throughout the essay. The ideas are extended and supported, such as the example of Bangladesh implementing a two-year mandatory work rule and the comparison of doctor salaries between Australia and Nepal. However, there is a minor tendency to over-generalise or slightly repeat points rather than fully expanding into deeper conceptual analysis. Nevertheless, the requirements for Task Achievement are fully met, earning a solid Band 7.0.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The essay displays a clear logical organisation and progression throughout. Information and ideas are grouped into logical paragraphs: an introduction, two body paragraphs examining each contrasting viewpoint, and a conclusion. Cohesive devices are used reasonably well, such as 'One major benefit', 'On the other hand', and 'To conclude', although some cohesive ties and referencing feel slightly mechanical or repetitive ('As a result', 'they find it easy'). Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the two main arguments. Overall, the structure is coherent and easy to follow, aligning well with the Band 6.5 to 7.0 descriptors.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
The writer demonstrates an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting less common lexical items such as 'organizational culture', 'developed country', and 'maintain their living standard'. However, there are noticeable word choice and collocation inaccuracies throughout the text, such as 'Most of the people nowadays think' instead of 'Many people nowadays think', 'they can easily exposed' instead of 'they are easily exposed', and the awkward use of 'experts' to refer to doctors and engineers. Spelling is generally accurate, but vocabulary limitations and minor infelicities keep this criterion at a Band 6.0.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
The essay exhibits a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, with attempts at relative clauses and conditional-like structures ('professionals who work as a doctor and engineer', 'where advanced tools and technologies are used'). However, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with missing pluralisations ('every students should work', 'rules and regulation'), awkward verb forms ('they can easily exposed'), and article omissions ('thrice the payment of Nepal'). While these errors do not impede overall communication, they prevent the essay from reaching a Band 6.5, making Band 6.0 the most appropriate reflection of grammatical control.
