Student answer (Band 5.0)
well, professionals like doctors, engineers etc do their studies from the native country and commonly go for training in their own country as they are more sensible than ordinary people , they are aware to serve their country.
Some of the professionals go for any other foreign country for two point of views, the first is to train better in the country where there is a of scope of his profession like for doctors people often go for England to train themselves on higher professional level to get better at his feild, the second point is to earn better in the country where there is a need of that professions like doctors goes for china, india etc as theses countries are overpopulated so there is much more need of doctors than other countries and professionals from their own cannot fulfill the needs.
In my opionon, professionals should seek the knowledge and develope better skills even from any other country or from his/her native country but should at last serve his own country to fulfill the needs of the country and should try to give best to his country because it can be the reason of the improvement of living quality and living standard of his own peoples even if he knows that he can earn much more better than in any other country than his own country but he should use his skills and knowledge on his own country to be a reason of betterment of economic graph of the country only if he knows that he can.
In conlusion, every professional should understand his/her ability and should go for improvement of his own country and if he has not developed his skills then he should develope the skills first.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt regarding the two contrasting views on professionals working abroad versus in their home countries, and the student also provides a clear personal opinion. However, the ideas are relatively undeveloped and lack specific, well-supported examples. For instance, the mention of doctors going to 'china, india etc' is a simplistic generalisation. The essay tends to repeat the core idea of 'serving the home country' without introducing deeply nuanced arguments or comprehensive exploration. Under the official descriptors, this corresponds to Band 5, as the task is addressed, but the ideas remain limited, repetitive, and under-developed.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The essay is structured with introductory, body, and concluding sections, but the internal organisation suffers significantly. The text relies heavily on long, run-on sentences rather than clear paragraphing and cohesive transitions. For example, the entire second body paragraph is a single massive sentence containing multiple clauses connected loosely by commas and conjunctions. Referencing is also weak, with ambiguous pronouns such as 'their' and 'his/her' making it difficult at times to follow the logical progression. This level of organisation and mechanical faultiness aligns with Band 5 descriptors.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The student uses a limited range of vocabulary with frequent inappropriate word choices and collocations, such as 'do their studies from the native country' and 'improve the economic graph'. There are also several basic spelling and word form errors, including 'develope' and 'opionon'. While the vocabulary is minimally adequate to convey the basic message, the repetition of words like 'country', 'professionals', and 'skills' restricts the lexical range. These characteristics place the response firmly at Band 5 for lexical resource.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
Grammatically, the response demonstrates a very limited range of structures. The text is dominated by long, rambling compound-complex sentences that lack proper punctuation and standard syntax control, such as 'In my opionon, professionals should seek the knowledge... only if he knows that he can.' Frequent errors in subject-verb agreement, verb forms, and punctuation impede readability and cause difficulty for the reader. There is a lack of error-free sentences, which prevents the essay from reaching Band 6. Therefore, a band score of 4.5 or 5.0 is appropriate; 5.0 is awarded as the meaning is ultimately decipherable.
