Student answer (Band 5.0)

It is often argued by some that the professionals, such as engineers and doctors should complete their training before work in country for good result. Meanwhile, others argue that they should have freedom of work in another country if they wanted for finacial improvement. However, I believe that professionals should complete their training before their work in country for getting more experience.

On the one hand, supports of the ideas professional should complete their training before work believe that it is better for good result. As if their complete they training than their expert in own work. Take an example, a survey conduct in China, most people said professionals should complete the training before their work for good result. Thus, the supporters of this view support their findings back their analysis with valid arguments.

While on the other hand, the advocate of the view that professionals should be free to work in another country if they wish for finacial improvement. As their start work before their they training they get money during the period of the training. For instance, the people of Japan, were rich because they start their work without the training. Hence, this view also seems to carry a lot weightage.

However, I believe that professionals should complete their training for more experience. As they complete training they get more experience.

To sum up, even though finacial improvement, but I believe that professionals, such as doctors and engineers, should be required to work in the country where they did their training for more experience.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

The response addresses both parts of the task by discussing the views that professionals should work in their home country after training and that they should be free to work abroad. A position is stated, claiming that professionals should complete their training and work in their home country for more experience. However, the ideas are heavily repetitive, under-developed, and rely on simplistic assertions rather than well-supported reasoning. For instance, the arguments regarding Chinese and Japanese surveys or generalisations lack depth and clarity. This places the response firmly at Band 5.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The essay is divided into paragraphs, including an introduction, two body paragraphs, a brief counter-argument paragraph, and a conclusion, which shows a basic attempt at organisation. However, progression is hindered by repetitive phrasing and a lack of clear overall development. Cohesive devices are used awkwardly or repetitively (e.g., 'On the one hand', 'While on the other hand', 'However'), and referencing is sometimes unclear, such as ambiguous pronoun use like 'As their start work before their they training'. Paragraphing is minimally adequate, but overall flow is disrupted by structural weaknesses, aligning with Band 5.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is very basic and repetitive, with frequent reliance on a narrow set of words such as 'professionals', 'training', 'work', 'country', and 'experience'. There are noticeable lexical errors and inappropriate word choices, such as 'finacial improvement' (instead of financial advancement/gain) and 'carry a lot weightage' (instead of carry a lot of weight). The range is limited and minimally adequate for the task, causing some difficulty for the reader due to awkward collocations and spelling inaccuracies, characteristic of Band 5.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.0

The text displays a very limited range of grammatical structures. Simple sentences dominate, and attempts at complex structures are consistently faulty and ungrammatical (e.g., 'As if their complete they training than their expert in own work' and 'As their start work before their they training they get money'). Frequent errors in tense, subject-verb agreement, and word forms impede readability and obscure meaning in several places, which reflects the descriptors for Band 4.
