Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

The response addresses both views regarding whether professionals should work in their home country or abroad, and clearly states a personal position in favour of freedom of movement. However, the development of ideas is limited and repetitive. For instance, the reasons provided for working abroad ('Big amount salaries and good security, safty and good living system') are quite basic and lack proper extension or specific examples. Similarly, the counterargument concerning government investment and taxes is mentioned briefly without deep elaboration. While all parts of the prompt are touched upon, the overall development corresponds to Band 5, where ideas are somewhat limited and under-developed.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

The text is organised into basic paragraphs representing an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. However, the logical progression is frequently disrupted by severe structural flaws and repetitive transitional markers. For instance, the writer uses a repetitive and mechanical listing approach ('Firstly I agrre becouse...', 'secondly a person leave...', 'Thirdly...'). Paragraphing attempts are made, but paragraph boundaries and internal cohesion are undermined by extreme fragmentation and lack of smooth transitions between sentences. Referencing and conjunctions are basic and often inaccurate, reflecting the characteristics of a Band 4 performance where information and ideas lack coherent structural arrangement.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.0

The vocabulary is extremely basic, repetitive, and plagued by persistent spelling errors that severely impede readability. Words like 'counrtry', 'professional', 'doctore', 'safty', 'opptunity', and 'tottaly' appear throughout the text. The range of vocabulary is very limited, relying heavily on simple, everyday words and repeating terms such as 'country', 'people', and 'professional' multiple times in close proximity. There is no successful attempt at less common lexical items or idiomatic language. This performance fits the Band 4 descriptor, where basic, repetitive vocabulary and frequent errors strain the reader.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.0

The grammatical range is extremely limited, consisting almost entirely of simple sentences and very poorly constructed attempts at complex forms that are laden with errors. There is a total lack of control over basic verb tenses, subject-verb agreement, and articles (e.g., 'When it is come some issue leave country', 'government invest a lot amount many for their education'). Punctuation is also heavily misused, with erratic spacing and comma splices. Because errors are constant and frequently distort the meaning of the sentences, the grammatical control falls firmly into Band 4 territory.
