Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

The candidate attempts to address both views regarding whether professionals should work in their home country or abroad, and clearly states a personal opinion agreeing with the freedom to work internationally. However, the development of ideas is limited and hindered by severe linguistic constraints. The arguments presented in the second and third paragraphs are repetitive and lack detailed support. For instance, the points about salaries and government investment are mentioned briefly without being fully extended. While all parts of the prompt are touched upon, the overall development corresponds to Band 5, as the ideas remain limited, superficial, and under-developed due to the heavy strain of expression.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

The text is organized into paragraphs, including an introduction, body paragraphs for each view, and a conclusion, which shows an underlying attempt at logical structuring. However, there is a lack of clear progression, and the use of cohesive devices is extremely basic and often mechanical or inaccurate (e.g., 'Firstly I agrre becouse', 'On the othe hand', 'Conculsion , to sum up'). Referencing is frequently unclear, and sentences are disjointed. Paragraphing is attempted, but the internal cohesion within paragraphs fails to guide the reader smoothly. These features place the response firmly at Band 4, as information and ideas are not arranged cohesively enough to ensure smooth reading.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.0

The vocabulary used is very basic, repetitive, and heavily restricted. The student relies on elementary words and makes numerous spelling and word-choice errors throughout the essay (e.g., 'counrtry' for country, 'dicusses' for discuss, 'agrre' for agree, 'becouse' for because, 'doctore' for doctor, 'opptunity' for opportunity, 'collet' for collect, 'mantioning' for mentioning, 'explen' for explain). There is very little attempt at less common lexical items, and when attempted, errors are pervasive. The vocabulary is minimally adequate to convey the most basic gist, but frequent errors strain the reader and obscure meaning, reflecting a Band 4 performance.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.0

Grammatical control is extremely weak throughout the response. The writing is dominated by frequent, dense basic errors in tense, subject-verb agreement, article use, and word order (e.g., 'When it is come some issue leave country or stay counrtry', 'a professionals worker like engineers, doctore first off all he or she as a human', 'government invest a lot amount many for their education'). There is a complete lack of accurate complex sentence structures; attempted complex or compound forms are consistently faulty. Errors are present in almost every sentence and frequently distort meaning, requiring the reader to guess the intended sense. This demonstrates a level below Band 5, placing it at Band 4.
