Student answer (Band 4.5)

Many people believe that doctors and engineers professionals should be work in their own country where they did their training and many people believe opposite they told to practice their profesions in other countries where they want. I am agreed with the second opinion all the persons have rights to live their lives and work with their own opinions and whenever they want to do work they can do .

Overall, it is very common for the people who do not get their admissions in their wanted degrees so that's why they provide their opinion as in negative way to restrict the people who have degrees in the respective fields.

On the other side it is good opportunity for the students who done their degrees in the doctoral and enginering field it is very common for the graduate professionals to do work or for next study to go abroad , according to my point of view it is a good option to illustrate the international standers of lives .

As in my life i also experience the same issue and same apportunity for the students for those students who got their visa for international practices are more happy in their lives and professions and enjoy their lives in good standers as my frient last year gone to Australia in Engineering field he is very happy and also tell me the standers of international hospitals and daily live it is so impressing for me and i also want to go abroad when ever i got my visa .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

The response attempts to address all parts of the task by discussing both views—that professionals should work where they trained and that they should be free to move—while also stating a personal opinion. However, the ideas are presented in a very simplistic manner, heavily reliant on personal anecdote rather than well-developed arguments. For instance, the discussion on why some people oppose migration is restricted to a vague claim about university admissions, and the supporting points for the writer's position lack depth and extension. Consequently, the response sits at Band 5, as the ideas remain limited, under-developed, and the overall position is expressed rather simplistically.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

The text suffers from a lack of clear overall progression and flawed paragraphing. Sentences run together without appropriate punctuation or logical transitions, creating a confused flow for the reader. For example, the transition from the introduction into the body paragraphs relies on weak connectors like 'Overall' and 'On the other side', which do not accurately signal the logical relationship between the points. Furthermore, referencing is frequently unclear, such as the ambiguous pronoun use in 'so that's why they provide their opinion as in negative way'. There is some organisation, but paragraph structures break down, leading to a mechanical and difficult reading experience characteristic of Band 4.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.0

The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, frequently impeded by inaccurate word choice, collocation, and spelling errors. The writer uses simple phrases and misspells key terminology multiple times, such as 'profesions', 'enginerring', and 'apporunity'. Attempts to use less common vocabulary, such as 'international standers of lives', are marred by awkward phrasing and incorrect lexical collocation. Because the range is limited and noticeable errors cause some difficulty and strain for the reader, this performance aligns closely with Band 4 descriptors.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.0

Grammatical control is weak throughout the essay, characterised by a very limited range of structures and frequent, heavy errors. The response contains numerous run-on sentences and comma splices, such as 'I am agreed with the second opinion all the persons have rights to live their lives...'. Complex sentence forms are rarely attempted successfully, and basic grammar rules—such as subject-verb agreement, tense consistency, and preposition usage—are frequently violated ('my frient last year gone to Australia'). Because errors are frequent, distort meaning at times, and impede smooth reading, the grammar score falls into Band 4.
