Student answer (Band 6.0)
In this global world often professionals, such as doctors and engineers, completes their training in one country and then moves to another country to serve. Some people are in opposed of this norm, and believes that they should work in the country where they did their trainining. However some people are of the opinion that they should be free to work in the country of their preferances. This essay discusses both views and in the end my personal perspective is explained.
An increasing number of people believe that it is of paramount importance that one should give back to the country they have learend from by working in that country. Furthermore, statistics demonstrates that the geographical location of a country affects its education system. For instance, the engineers from USA faces differrent hurdles in consturction in comparision to engineers in Pakistan. Thus, the education and training of a country focuses on the specific problems, that exists in it. Simultaniously, the engineers from Japan are trained to focus on building such houses that can withstand the earthquicks of that area. Thus, it is believed that such people would work in the same environment in which they have learned. Same goes for doctors, every area have their own becteria and diseases. Therefore, their training focuses more on that specific health condition that in common in that area.
On the other hand some people belive that doctors and engineers are also humans and it is their basic right to live or work in the country of their choice. There should be no law that binds them to a place they dont want to live in. Recent research ellaborates that such cases would lead to stress and anxiety, that would end up in depression. Consequently, affecting their overall performance at work. For instance, if doctors are not satisfied with their own lifes and their minds are always occupied with their own troubles that would not be able to focus on thier patients with their whole heart.
In my personal perspective, humans can learn and adapt to different situations. It is in their nature. Therefore such professionals should be free to live or work in another country if they wish.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
The response addresses all parts of the prompt by discussing both views—that professionals should work in their training country and that they should be free to move—while also providing a clear personal opinion in the introduction and conclusion. Ideas are extended with relevant examples, such as comparing the construction challenges and earthquake conditions faced by engineers in the USA and Japan, or noting how doctors deal with region-specific bacteria. While some arguments tend to overgeneralise slightly, the overall task is well fulfilled and the position is consistent throughout. This performance aligns well with Band 7 descriptors for Task Achievement.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The essay displays a clear logical organisation and progression. Paragraphing is used appropriately to divide the introduction, body paragraphs discussing opposing views, and the conclusion. Cohesive devices such as 'Furthermore', 'Thus', 'On the other hand', and 'Consequently' are generally used well to guide the reader through the arguments, although some referencing and transitional choices are slightly mechanical. For instance, phrases like 'Same goes for doctors' are a bit informal for an academic task. Nevertheless, the overall arrangement is coherent and easy to follow, supporting a Band 6.5 or solid 6 score, rounded to 6.5.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
The student demonstrates an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting less common items such as 'paramount importance', 'geographical location', and 'adapt to different situations'. However, there are numerous spelling and word-choice inaccuracies throughout the text, including 'completes' instead of 'complete', 'opposed' instead of 'opposition', 'believes' instead of 'believe', 'trainining', 'learend', 'differrent', 'consturction', 'comparision', 'Simultaniously', 'earthquicks', 'becteria', 'ellaborates', 'lifes', and 'thier'. These errors indicate a Band 5.5 to 6 level, where spelling mistakes are frequent enough to detract from lexical precision, though communication is not impeded.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, incorporating conditional structures and subordinate clauses effectively. However, there is a high frequency of grammatical errors, particularly subject-verb agreement issues (e.g., 'professionals... completes', 'engineers... faces', 'every area have', 'cases would lead... that would end up'), punctuation errors, and awkward phrasing (e.g., 'In this global world often professionals', 'that would not be able to focus'). Because errors occur frequently across both simple and complex structures and occasionally cause minor strain for the reader, the grammar profile fits comfortably within the Band 5.5 range.
