Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response attempts to discuss both views regarding whether professionals should work in their training country, and it gives a personal opinion at the end ("I believe that doctors or engineers should work equally where they want"). However, the task achievement is significantly undermined by the severe under-length issue, as the student's response contains only 215 words against the mandatory 250-word minimum. Due to this under-length penalty and the resulting under-development of ideas—such as vague supporting reasons like "good comunication with those individuals" and simplistic explanations for migration—the response meets the criteria for Band 5.0.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
The essay attempts some basic organization with an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a brief conclusion, but it suffers from poor logical progression and a lack of proper punctuation. Run-on sentences and a complete absence of periods or commas (e.g., "First and the foremost point is that... yes i belive that...") make the flow disjointed and difficult to follow. Paragraphing is attempted, but the internal cohesion within paragraphs is faulty due to missing punctuation and mechanical transitions. These features align with the Band 4.0 descriptors.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.0
The vocabulary used is basic, repetitive, and heavily impacted by spelling errors throughout the text (e.g., "experinced", "needs to duty", "whant", "orr", "comunication", "surve", "onces", "resion", "compair", "differenrt", "opportunites", "coclude"). While the writer attempts some topic-related vocabulary like "professionals", "doctors", "engineers", and "migrates", the numerous spelling and word-choice errors noticeably strain the reader and impede comprehension in several places, fitting the Band 4.0 descriptors.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.0
The grammatical range is extremely limited, consisting mostly of run-on, fused sentences linked by conjunctions without any terminal punctuation or capitalisation. There are frequent and severe errors in basic grammar, subject-verb agreement (e.g., "professionals... needs to duty"), and tense usage. Complex sentence structures are either absent or entirely faulty, and the constant lack of punctuation causes the entire text to read as a single, confusing stream of consciousness. This performance reflects Band 4.0.
