Student answer (Band 5.0)

Some individuals believe that all highly educated persons like medical students and non-medical students (Doctors and Engineers) have to do their jobs in the country where they pursue their degree, Although few think that after completing their degree they are free to do their jobs in each and every country where they want to do their jobs.

From my perspective, I would like to exprees my thoughts on this and, I Completely agree with people who thought that everyone should do their job from where they completed their degree, In Addition it provide some benefits to them and just by clearing the exam they are able to do jobs and it easy for them because they are taught like this to attempt the exam and the focus is also on the syllabus which will come in exam.

It may create a lot of issues for individuals to apply Overseas after completing their education and they have to sit in an exam of that particular stream. For Instance some Indian Students complete their Mbbs from russia beacause it offers in very affordable price So, everyone can complete their degree but if you want to do job in india after completing mbbs then it is not valid without indian entrance exam, (Example:- FMGE exam) rather than that it is better to complete your ongoing degree in india.

In Conclusion, it is crucial for citizens to pursue their degree in country where they want to do job after the completion of their degree. But i agree with this as well if you want to do job in any other country then you have to give specific country exam and meet with their requirements.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

The response addresses the task only partially. While the prompt asks to discuss both views and give a personal opinion, the development of ideas remains limited and under-developed. For example, the student attempts to present arguments about training and examinations, such as mentioning Indian students completing their MBBS in Russia, but the supporting points lack depth and clarity. The position is stated, but the overall exploration of the two opposing views is somewhat simplistic and repetitive, which keeps the response at this level. To move further, the writer needs to fully extend both viewpoints with more detailed explanations, clear justifications, and well-supported examples rather than relying on brief, generalized statements.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

There is some organisation in the essay, with a discernible introduction, body, and conclusion, but it lacks a clear overall progression. Cohesive devices are sometimes inaccurate, inadequate, or mechanical, such as the repetitive use of comma splices instead of proper conjunctions or full stops (e.g., 'degree, Although few think...' and 'degree, In Addition it provide...'). Paragraphing is attempted, but the internal logical flow between sentences is occasionally disjointed, making it difficult for the reader to follow the argument smoothly. To improve coherence, the writer should use a wider variety of accurate cohesive links, ensure referencing is clear, and structure each paragraph around a distinct, well-connected central topic.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is limited but minimally adequate to convey the basic meaning. The writer attempts some less common vocabulary, such as 'professionals', 'education', and 'requirements', but there are noticeable errors in word choice, word form, and spelling that cause some difficulty for the reader. Instances such as 'exprees', 'beacause', and mixing up word forms indicate a lack of precision. Furthermore, vocabulary is often repeated rather than paraphrased effectively. To achieve a higher band, the student must expand their lexical repertoire, pay closer attention to word spelling and collocations, and use precise terminology naturally throughout the response.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The response exhibits a very limited range of structures, relying mostly on simple sentences or attempts at complex sentences that are frequently faulty. There are persistent errors in grammar, punctuation, and capitalization throughout the text, including run-on sentences, missing articles, and incorrect verb forms (e.g., 'it provide some benefits', 'people who thought', 'do job in country'). Punctuation control is particularly weak, marked by comma splices and unnecessary capital letters in the middle of sentences. These frequent errors can cause difficulty for the reader. To improve, the writer needs to practise using complex sentence patterns accurately, control subject-verb agreement, and apply correct punctuation and capitalization rules.
