Student answer (Band 6.0)
It is often argued by some that professional fields, such as doctors and engineers should be needed to duty in the own nation where they did their internships or training as local communities often suffer from a shortage of professional workers as well as governments often provide subsidize to higher education. Others opine that they have freedom to work in another country if they want because the lack of facilities or opportunities in professional fields where they graduated. This essay will discuss both the points of view before explaining my own opinion.
On the one hand, there are several reasons why some individuals believe that professional workers required to work in the same country where they get training. One key reason is that local communities often suffer an acute shortage of doctors and engineers, especially in rural areas. To be more precise, rural hospitals and infrastructure projects are suffering from a lack of doctors and enginners. Besides this, higher education in medicines and engineering is heavily subsidized by public taxpayers. In other words, if government invests some society funds on developing the facilities and infrastructure. This can be beneficial for professional workers who gain experiences and skills for their duties during training period. Consequently, number of people think that professional workers should be required to work in the home country and serve their duites among the local people.
On the other hand, others advocate that they should be free to work in other nations where they want. If the home country provides lower amount of salaries package, then they are moved to abroad for higher salaries to improve their lifestyles. Apart from this, gaining global experience and develop advanced skills from developed countries. In other words, in today's time, the advanced technological machines and instruments have been introduced for better productivity and improves the practical knowledge in a particular department. That's why many professional workers are moving to other country for improving their knowledge in both terms, theoretical and practical.
In conclusion, although preventing talent loss and invest society's funds in the right ways are more suitable, restricting human freedom, which cannot be an ideal solution. I support the balanced approach due to national authority develop some kinds of facilities in professional fields and the prevent the loss of talent as well as being a favorable way to avoid the shortage of doctors and engineers.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the task, discussing both views regarding whether professionals should be mandated to work domestically or allowed to migrate, and outlines a clear personal position in the introduction and conclusion. However, the development of ideas is uneven. For instance, the discussion on taxpayer-funded education and rural shortages in the first body paragraph is more fully articulated than the arguments in the second body paragraph, which touch on salary packages and technological advancements but remain somewhat repetitive and under-developed. To move to a higher band, the writer needs to fully extend and support all arguments with deeper elaboration rather than relying on general statements.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The essay presents a coherent overall arrangement with a clear, logical progression of ideas from the introduction through the body paragraphs to the conclusion. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the different views and the writer's opinion. Cohesive devices are employed, such as 'On the one hand', 'On the other hand', and 'In conclusion', which help guide the reader through the text. However, cohesion is at times mechanical or faulty, as seen in the phrasing 'In other words, in today's time', and referencing is occasionally unclear, which prevents the essay from achieving a more fluid organizational structure.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
The student uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting less common terms such as 'subsidized', 'infrastructure', 'productivity', and 'favorable'. However, there are noticeable vocabulary and word choice errors, such as 'duty in the own nation', 'salaries package', and 'invest society's funds', alongside awkward collocations like 'lower amount of salaries package'. Word formation errors also occur, such as 'enginners' and 'prevents' instead of 'prevent'. While these lexical inadequacies do not seriously impede communication, they reflect a limited precision that restricts the score to this level.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
The writing displays a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating attempts at subordination and relative clauses. There are, however, several grammatical errors throughout the text, including problems with verb forms and agreements, such as 'professionals, such as doctors and engineers should be needed to duty', fragments like 'If government invests some society funds... This can be beneficial', and prepositional errors like 'move to abroad' and 'in both terms'. Punctuation and article usage are also occasionally inaccurate. Despite these errors, the sentence structures are sufficiently varied, and the mistakes rarely impede overall comprehension.
