Student answer (Band 5.5)
Some people believe that the professionals such as doctor and engineers have to work their country where they did their training. Some argue that they should work in abroad freely if they wish. This essay will disscus both views and give my opinion.
First of all, the doctors and engineers are the are the savers of the people, the government open many medical college for the students to get knowledge and experience and work for the nation. The state spend a huge budget on the medical department so if a medical learner after completing education go to wrok abroad that is effects badly on the community as a result they have the shortage of doctors so they are difficult to manage the hospitals.
On the other side, if they go abroad for wrok after completing his degree they have full freedom, everyone has right to live according to his will. For example, if doctors and engineers go to abroad and work there they have develop high skills and better experiences it is very beneficial for the country if they return and work here.
From my perpestive, everyone has right to live freely the doctors and engineers work in abroad if they wish as a result wrok in forigen countries hospital developed high skills and if they return back they should wrok.
In the conclusion, the professionals have to work in the country where they did training owing to there is also have the shortage of doctors while they have freedom to work abroad beacuse they get high salaries and facilities.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by discussing both views regarding professionals working in their home country versus abroad, and provides a personal opinion in the introduction and conclusion. However, the ideas remain limited and under-developed. For instance, the argument about the government opening medical colleges and spending a huge budget is introduced but not fully extended with specific consequences or examples. Similarly, the counterargument about personal freedom and skill development is mentioned superficially without deeper exploration. While the position is visible, the overall development lacks the depth and extension required for a higher band, reflecting a partial approach to all parts of the task.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The essay presents some organisation with an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion, showing an attempt at a logical structure. However, there is no clear overall progression as ideas tend to loop or repeat rather than build upon one another sequentially. Cohesive devices are often inadequate or repetitive, relying heavily on basic transitional phrases like 'First of all,' 'On the other side,' and 'In the conclusion.' Paragraphing is used, but the internal cohesion within paragraphs feels mechanical and sometimes disjointed, which disrupts the flow of arguments and makes the overall progression difficult to follow at times.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The student uses a limited but minimally adequate range of vocabulary suitable for the task, such as 'professionals,' 'government,' 'budget,' and 'freedom.' However, there are noticeable errors in word choice, word form, and collocation that occasionally cause difficulty for the reader. Examples include 'doctor' instead of 'doctors,' 'work their country' instead of 'work in their country,' 'work in abroad' instead of 'work abroad,' and 'perpestive' instead of 'perspective.' These repetitive lexical inaccuracies and spelling slips restrict the vocabulary to a basic level, preventing the response from achieving greater precision and flexibility.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The writing displays a limited range of sentence structures, relying mostly on simple sentences and basic attempts at complex clauses that are frequently faulty. There are frequent errors in grammar and punctuation throughout the text, including issues with subject-verb agreement ('the doctors and engineers are... the savers'), missing articles ('if a medical learner... go to wrok'), prepositional patterns ('work in forigen countries hospital'), and run-on sentences. For instance, the sentence starting with 'From my perpestive...' is structurally tangled and lacks proper punctuation. These frequent grammatical errors cause strain and difficulty for the reader in places.
