Student answer (Band 5.5)
In this contemporary era, because of the increased awareness everyone wants to get successful and have ever leisure of life. Some people think that after getting success they should stay in their country to serve. However, some argue that in order to accomplish more they need to move abroad. This essay will discuss both views and my opinion.
On one hand, some people suggest it is beneficial to keep your resources in your country so local people can be benefited, for economy boost and to improve overall wellbeing. To illustrate, in underdeveloped countries where several issues for example, flood leading to injuries and diseases are common, they can get help of their doctors if God forbid any disaster occurs. In addition, doctors open their clinics that give jobs to others as well plus healthcare professionals improve overall health of country by counselling and educating local public.
On the other hand, it is thought that in underdeveloped countries it is difficult to achieve higher status because of low wages and fewer opportunities for career growth. For instance, for a nurse there are very few colleges in developing countries to support their higher education such as master's and PhD. So, they have no other choice than moving to a country where they get more opportunities.
In my perspective, sticking to your own country is vital if the government can improve stability and working environment. For example, chances of an employee to stay longer in a company depends on higher wages, friendly plus healthy working environment and opportunities to a boost in career.
In conclusion, the government should take an account on providing safe place for employees and make policies to improve it so people can stay with their loved ones and help local resident.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You have addressed all parts of the prompt by discussing both views—that professionals should stay and that they should be free to move—while presenting your own opinion. However, some ideas remain under-developed or unclear. For instance, your first body paragraph touches on economic boost and healthcare benefits, but the example regarding floods and injuries is somewhat limited in its extension. Similarly, your own opinion introduces factors like wages and working environments that are not fully integrated into a cohesive extension of your stance. To move to a higher band, you would need to extend and support your arguments with more robust and fully elaborated explanations.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
Your essay has a coherent overall arrangement, and you have attempted to structure it logically with clear paragraphing, including an introduction, two body paragraphs discussing opposing views, your own perspective, and a conclusion. However, the cohesion can feel slightly mechanical or repetitive, particularly in how you transition between paragraphs using standard phrases like 'On one hand' and 'On the other hand'. Referencing is also occasionally unclear, such as the pronoun use in the phrase 'in underdeveloped countries where several issues for example, flood leading to injuries and diseases are common, they can get help of their doctors'. To improve, you need to use cohesive devices more flexibly and ensure smoother progression between ideas.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You have used an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting some less common words and phrases such as 'contemporary era' and 'healthcare professionals'. However, there are noticeable errors in word choice, collocation, and word form that occasionally cause some difficulty for the reader. For example, phrases like 'have ever leisure of life', 'for economy boost', and 'opportunities to a boost in career' show awkward collocations and grammatical choices regarding word forms. Additionally, spelling and word choice issues, such as 'local resident' instead of the plural form, indicate a limited but minimally adequate lexical range. To progress, aim for greater precision in word selection and natural collocations.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You have demonstrated a mix of simple and complex sentence forms throughout your response, attempting structures such as conditional and relative clauses. However, there are frequent errors in grammar and punctuation that can cause difficulty for the reader. Issues include problems with articles, preposition usage, and clause structures, such as in the sentence 'In my perspective, sticking to your own country is vital if the government can improve stability and working environment.' Additionally, punctuation errors and missing prepositions, such as 'take an account on providing', detract from the clarity of your writing. To achieve a higher band, you must increase the proportion of error-free sentences and demonstrate better control over complex grammatical patterns.
