Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is often argue that people, such as doctors and engineers should work in any country where they wish. While other argue that, they should serve their own country from where they study. In this essay i will explain both opinions, relative examples and my own perspective.
People should feel free for making decisions, where they want to serve their country or want to move to other countries because they want to earn more money which is not possible in their own country. For instance, in pakistan doctors are paid very few salaries, they are living hand to mouth, so young doctors or engineers prefer to move abroad for well-being of their families and for better future. People don't gave respect and doctors have to work for hours there are no fixed working hours. Countries such as UK gave respect to doctors there are fixed workinh hours and even they get paid hourly.
On the other hand, if the professionals moved from their countries, there are lack of doctors and engineers, so we have to hired people from other countries, it will affect the country economy. Healthcare system will be destroyed due to less doctors and nurses. We should gave respect to all professionals ans their salaries should be according to their work.
In conclusion, from my prerspective every individual should be free to work where they want or if they got better opportunities, but they should try to find these opportunities in their own countries and help in progress of nation.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing both views on whether professionals should work in their home countries or abroad, and provides a clear personal opinion in the introduction and conclusion. However, some ideas are more fully developed than others. For example, while the discussion of doctors migrating from Pakistan to the UK due to low salaries and poor conditions is relevant and supported with specific points, the counter-argument regarding the impact on the local economy and healthcare system is somewhat under-developed and lacks extension. The position is generally clear throughout, but the depth of argument varies between the two viewpoints.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The essay presents a coherent overall arrangement with a recognisable introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion, allowing the reader to follow the main argument easily. However, the use of cohesive devices is at times mechanical or faulty, such as the abrupt transitions between sentences and paragraphs like 'People should feel free for making decisions...' and 'On the other hand, if the professionals moved...'. Paragraphing is attempted, but the grouping of ideas could be improved, particularly in the second body paragraph where multiple distinct points regarding economic impact and professional respect are compressed without smooth internal progression.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
The writer demonstrates an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, successfully communicating personal views and everyday concepts related to employment and migration. There are attempts to use less common vocabulary, such as 'well-being' and 'economy', though these are accompanied by noticeable inaccuracies in word choice, form, and collocation, such as 'few salaries' instead of low salaries, 'don't gave respect' instead of do not receive respect, and 'prerspective'. Spelling and word-choice errors do occur, but they do not significantly impede communication, keeping the lexical standard appropriate for this level.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response uses a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, attempting complex structures like conditional sentences ('if the professionals moved from their countries, there are lack of doctors...') and relative clauses. However, there are some frequent errors in grammar and punctuation, particularly with subject-verb agreement ('people, such as doctors and engineers should', 'countries such as UK gave'), tense consistency ('It is often argue'), and missing articles ('lack of doctors', 'affect the country economy'). While these errors are noticeable, the meaning is generally clear and they rarely completely impede communication.
