Student answer (Band 5.0)

Many mankind consider that the jobs, such as doctors and engineers should be required to work in the country where they did their training, while others argue with that they should be free to work in foreign country if they wish.I think that they can take their own thinking skills to be success in their life.

Many residents believe that the people where they get trained should be earn and work in their own country which is also the best thinking because if the people is getting trained and learning skills and knowledge about the doctors or engineers they should work on their country which is also important whenever we can see that our country people are not getting the treatment they want where many are losting their lives therefore if the doctors start to work on their living country then that will be helpful for the country residents. If the people are not getting the treatment they are taken to the another country which will be very expensive so it is better to work on nowm country.

Other people argue that they should work wherever they want because the wages in our country is very low while the doctors and engineers have a lots of responsibilities to handle their family and the fee of being that kinds of learning is very high but the salary is very low so the people have to go for other country where they can earn more and more money to secure their bright future. But going into another country is not about choice to handle the financial condition they have to male and earn more wages.

In the conclusion, From my perspective i think the person should to be free to work as their wish because they have to handle their all kinds of responsibilties to handle the situations of their home which is very important. Therefore every person have their own rights whether to stay at own country or foreign country.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

The response addresses the task partially. While both views are mentioned and a personal position is stated, the ideas remain limited and under-developed. For instance, the argument regarding local healthcare needs is repetitive and lacks extension, relying on circular explanations rather than solid reasoning or examples. Note that the 18 words copied directly from the prompt were not counted towards the minimum length. To improve, the writer needs to present a fully developed position, ensuring each main idea is extended with clear, logical explanations and specific supporting examples rather than vague generalizations.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

There is some basic organization with identifiable paragraph breaks, but the response lacks a clear overall progression. Cohesive devices are used repetitively and sometimes inaccurately, such as the overuse of phrases like 'which is also' and 'therefore'. Referencing can also be confusing; for example, 'living country' and 'nowm country' obscure the intended connections between ideas. To move to a higher band, the writer must ensure logical sequencing from sentence to sentence and paragraph to paragraph, utilizing a wider and more natural range of cohesive devices without over-relying on a few basic connectors.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

The vocabulary is limited and minimally adequate for the task. The writer attempts some less common phrases, but noticeable word choice and word formation errors cause difficulty for the reader, such as 'Many mankind', 'losting', and 'male and earn'. Spelling errors like 'nowm' instead of 'own' further detract from clarity. To achieve a higher score, the student should expand their range of vocabulary, focusing on precise word choices, correct word forms (such as nouns, verbs, and adjectives), and accurate spelling to communicate ideas more fluently and naturally.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The response shows a very limited range of sentence structures, relying heavily on long, run-on sentences joined by conjunctions like 'and' or relative pronouns. Attempts at complex structures are frequently faulty, leading to errors in subject-verb agreement, articles, and prepositions within grammatical patterns, such as 'people where they get trained should be earn'. Frequent grammatical errors cause difficulty and strain for the reader. To improve, the writer needs to practice constructing shorter, clearer sentences, gain better control over basic verb forms, and minimize recurring structural errors.
