Student answer (Band 5.0)
The some people believe that professionals, like doctors and engineers, should be required to work in the country where they did their training. Others think that they should be leisure to work in another country if they wish. In the current situation, doctors and engineers are the most in demand professions in any country. They have a lot of opportunities in different countries.
Firstly, there is a lot of evidence for requiring professionals to work in their country because the government often spends a large amount of money of taxpayers on the medical or engineering students in government institutes for their degrees. When they become doctors and engineers they go abroad to UK and Canada and get their high-salary jobs. For instance, in Pakistan mostly students after completing their degrees they go abroad and fulfill the medical requirements of that countries where they are doing job, and this is the big loss for that particular country which spent a lot of money on those students.
On the other hand, sometimes doctors and engineers did not get high-salary jobs in the same country then, they made a decision to go out of the country for high-salary job. Such as due to lot of inflation people cannot afford their expenses, so they move in that country where that professions have lot of demand. Mostly this happens in undeveloped countries like Pakistan and India.
In my opinion, the government should make a rule that the student must work there at least 3 years in that country where he completed his degree and provide the services to the country.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both views: the first body paragraph explains that governments fund professional training, while the next recognises that low salaries and inflation can encourage people to leave. Your opinion is also stated clearly: graduates should work in their training country for at least three years. However, the discussion is only partly developed. The Pakistan example supports the first view, but the reasons for allowing professionals to move abroad are brief, and the proposed rule is not justified in detail. The response also contains 240 words, so it does not meet the required minimum of 250; this limits the opportunity to develop the ideas and examples fully. Add explanation and a relevant example for each side.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, one paragraph for each view, and a concluding opinion. Transitions such as “Firstly” and “On the other hand” help signal the change in argument. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear, and several ideas are joined mechanically or awkwardly. For example, the sentence beginning “For instance, in Pakistan mostly students…” contains several points without clear separation, making the example harder to follow. The conclusion gives a position but does not draw together the discussion. Use clearer topic sentences, divide long explanations into manageable sentences, and connect each example explicitly to the point it supports.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “taxpayers,” “government institutes,” “high-salary jobs,” and “inflation.” However, the range is limited and some word choices or collocations are noticeably inaccurate, which can make meaning less clear. For example, “they should be leisure to work” does not express freedom accurately, and “the most in demand professions” is an awkward phrase. Repetition of “country,” “doctors and engineers,” and “high-salary” also restricts variety. Build a more precise set of expressions for migration and employment, and check whether words naturally combine in English. The suggestions below offer practical alternatives.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including a reason clause with “because” and a contrast introduced by “On the other hand.” Nevertheless, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently, particularly in longer sentences. For example, “When they become doctors and engineers they go abroad…” needs clearer punctuation, while “students after completing their degrees they go abroad” has an incorrect sentence structure. There are also problems with articles, agreement, and verb forms, as in “that professions have lot of demand.” These errors sometimes make the reader work to understand the intended relationships. Practise building accurate sentences with one main idea and a clearly controlled subordinate clause.
